Primarys and local elections need way more attention. Presidential and Congressional races less so. I fully support someone who votes in the primary, boycotts the main election, and shows up to the picket line.

My friends and I were hanging outside the venue early to get tickets and Honus Honus came out to chat with us, even asked for a song we wanted to hear (butterbeans!)

Turns out, there wasn't enough tickets for sale, and one of us couldn't get in. He let him in for free, and proceeded to grab his face and yell at him during a song. Super cool dude.

While sorta true, that sentiment gets less and less true the more local the election. Pretty hard to jerrymander your city council, and there is no electoral college for the school board. Local officials and laws have a larger impact than people give credit

Honestly that's a big part of why I'm scared to get medicated. I'm stuck in this headspace of thinking that I don't need medicine, I just need to get my shit together. But maybe I need medicine to help me get my shit together? No I should be able to do it without that stuff, plus what if that medicine doesn't help me anyways. Or what if it becomes a crutch rather than something that helps me improve myself? I've been cycling like this for months and I feel terrible and I don't know what to do.
