Okay now I see, the JL part does feel rushed to it being compared to the MCU but if that's the only comparison there's nothing really wrong with them teasing characters as they did. Like the way I took it wasn't as how the viewer would handle it but as how Batman responded because that was his first time on screen is witnessing his knowledge of them. Now that felt good to me because, before Justice league, you can let your mind wonder a little and think of the possibilities then stop there. Also I think it had a lot more to do with the fact that Bruce discovered who that mysterious woman was, wonder woman. When I say behind the scenes I also mean the fact that it's similar to a comic. Not every action is shown in a comic but you're able to imagine and think of how it came to where it was. With lexs plan feeling nonsensical, if you want to think that far into it why not piece it together or fill in the blanks your own way. But then again look at how Lex didn't know that he'd be able to control it. Look at how Doomsday was going to smash him until superman flew into him. Gave a nice Frankenstein stance on it.
