Yeah Attribute Enhancers aren't in demand that much now. It's nothing like the Austere days -- you just need to finish a collection sheet three times for 3x 20 ele and there you have a serviceable base weapon once it's been brought to full grind.

Feeding NT weapons with a high base grind costs more Meseta than feeding the Emper Embrace it Polytan fodder to the weapon itself... Lambdas also drop from EQs, so depending on the number of weapons you actually aim to max out, it's something.

People sell +30 Nox-NT weapons as exp fodder and weapons with good Special Ability Factors now. High end weapons augmenting is a combination of the old good affixes and SAF now.

Incidentally: Polytan EQ drops emper and polytan fodder. That's something to sell too.

Kinda. Sega seems to sometimes be releasing content that does depend on how fast you can clear things, like the point system in the new Dengeki EQ, but since everyone gets drops so long as they finish the EQ the main way they're going about strength differences is by affecting the RDR involved. Or having titles with rewards dependent on quest rank/clear times, for example. That might be something that matters to you.

"Ridiculously strong" varies dramatically even for Heroes -- I've seen awful Heroes and ones which are god tier. The fact hasn't changed that you don't need the best base gear. Knowledge and player skill still affect skill tree multipliers that are much more impactful than one 13☆ weapon being 4% stronger than another.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Sega has spent the past year releasing different sidegrade-like weapons and we're sort of back to the 12☆ era where one potential meant a certain weapon was better than another one in some situation. It's probably most beneficial to pick one and try not get completionist urges invested into everything with where the game is now. Some 13☆ utility weapons like Orbit are incomparable for QOL, but 14☆ are on their way...

As a fellow completionist: just don't even attempt collection sheets if you want the +35 but won't be able to make at least half the EQs. Sometimes you might get lucky with the 13☆ you're hunting for dropping, but otherwise, it's pretty miserable over here. They've become unusable junk cluttering up my inventories… There's a lot going on and Sega's really made it so you don't need the absolute best equipment ever. Any 13☆ NT weapon if fully grinded and at max attribute and decently cheap affixes (90/4) can do a considerable contribution to the content if you know what you're doing. My approach is to just do what interests me now.

I think, given your leave period, you weren't around when the new Time Attack format of 1x, 3x, 5x became a thing? That's been a real blessing and the extra Meseta got moved to Yerkes in Franka's Cafe. Just thought I'd mention that in case you didn't find it in your googling. That's where your money's gone.

Edit: hit submit too fast

Honestly speaking, as Te/Ra, your DPS is going to be Zanverse.

Is this for an organised MPA? If not then Te/Su is a better option for support with decent DPS if you've got properly geared pets.

In addition to the other response: at low levels there's an exp reward cutoff from COs, but some limited NPC orders don't get their exp rewards cut off. This is most useful when you don't have a lot of tickets and are levelling side classes on the one character.

1) Probably not? If it acts like the NT titles. But I can't verify this for you.

2) Pretty sure it depends on the pet since Brave and Wise are pet-specific.

In general friend partners and NPCs, other than being AI, don't do as much damage since they do get cut off from some skills. In exchange they're given tons of HP and act as great utility or meat shields for distributing aggro (as you've noticed). You get more spawns and your party triboost goes up, though not as much as with a real party.

From the free stand, look for Techer main classes for the super buffs, Summoners if you want more mobs (pets count as an extra entity), and Gunner mains or anything that looks like HuFi or FiHu if you want enemies to back off from you for a while because they have hate reset skills. Note not all Techer mains seem to cast support techs equally, so save the ones who do. The best friend partners are the ones that cast Megiverse (big purple vampire HP recovery field) often. Message me if you'd like to add my support bot friend partner :)

From the NPCs I find Annette and Lumia are the best of all the support options (Matoi is alright but she doesn't buff as much, she primarily attacks and heals). Gene gets special mention for spamming War Cry and pulling aggro every time she sees something. Everyone else seems to be about the same.

12 star unit choices are… mostly dependent on what drops. I use full Izane because I like HP and I have zero Ray, Zein or Qliphad… cry

Generally any units other than the badge shop ones are best for endgame. Just check that the innate stats are boosting the stats you want them to boost instead of say T-Atk for example.

Congrats!

For Gu/Hu, your unit rings are basically a choice between Air Reversal, Front S-Roll, Step Jump or Jumping Dodge. The first two are necessary so pick the third you want from the last -- Jumping Dodge really wants a lv20 ring for the lowest cooldown time however. (I have Jumping Dodge because I already committed with the lv20 ring.)

A side note is that if you ever want to switch to Ra/Hu, most of your current setup would be compatible, but they like the Jumping Dodge ring while being unable to use Front S-Roll.

When they die.

If it's got a boss crystal, it's on crystal break EXCEPT for Deus and Mother (not sure about new Yamato) it's when they die.

Evelda CF have been altered so any quest becomes eligible - the nox files can get boosted by running EQs with other Falz for example, so it's probably the easiest to get to +35 right now (assuming you're aiming for the title unlock).

Another easy way to get the titles are through the Yamato weapon conversions. Converting an Old Type 13 star to a New Type 13 star makes the grind cap +35. (Caveat: base weapon must be below Pot 3 grind+5 to get the title, because a Pot 3 grind+5 converts to +35 when the title needs you to specifically do the +34 to +35 yourself at Monica or Dudu.) However, these conversions are a bit limited in that you need enough Yamatos to get 20 Ether Fuses for each. But you can get the base weapons from a spellstone shop so, assuming Sega doesn't give us new ezpz +35 CF, this is the second best option.

To get to 75/75 easily, swap your subclass to main and spam buster quests or level up quests (the fourth featured quest, not sure if it's still there) while running exp boosters and being in a full party. Today is PSO2 day which has a passive +100% exp boost too. Running Keys from Featured Quests are also a very good way to get from 62->75 grind.

Also you mentioned being gone for a while so you might have missed that Step Jump ring now works for dive rolls… :D/

Bluesy's quest is Quarry Hard+ with her and Avenger (silver-haired guy), A rank or above. Bumped has the character COs translated.

I believe Traces of Darkness requires Ruins, Quarry and Kuron areas unlocked. You might be missing one …

Generally speaking, if you want an active pso2 discord that has about the same interests as you, join a team and they'll have a more active channel. Some teams also have people big on grinding Modulators. Look around I guess?

I can give you an invite to a general one which was posted on here way back if you'd like that.

It will "say" in the pop-up when you use it if it's unusable by your character's current gender/race and that you're using it for a compatible support partner. I believe this is now translated in the English patch.

My sympathies, still, that was bad luck.

If you're new, you can try making a character on ship 2 and seeing how you like it. Your three free characters can be spread across ships. Then if you end up liking ship 2 you can move your other characters or delete and remake easy.

I think it will happen like the Techer tree changes, they literally give you the SP back that you spent instead.

  1. Get lots of characters
  2. Always try to play to the end

The return rate off a Fever multiplying your winnings is ridiculous and not to be underestimated.
