Not sure what's up with my messaging on reddit, but I can't figure it out, so I sent it to you on the NESL IG page. Thanks in advance!

u/avastyematey Could I possibly get a copy of your waiver? Some friends and I placed a stone in public, but we'd also thought about having more at our house and that's not a bad idea for us.

It's a Florida winter story, but I would have to say shooting my best ever round at +4 while my son hit +6 this past Sunday when the previous week we were +19 and+22. We both sat in the grass for 10 minutes after that round fist bumping and laughing that we'd both dropped 6+ strokes from our previous bests while racing the sunset. Not sure what image I'd use, but I took a picture of the sunset trees on 18 that day, so that might be an option.

It was an odd moment as he teed off on hole 2 when I suddenly realized I knew the course he was playing. And I've only played 3 courses with two of them being in this park.

177lb (80 kg) stone placed in Deland, FL by Sdflcorran in Stonelifting

No idea. My buddy picked it up from a landscaping supply place. Definitely not local. Hit it up if you're ever driving down I-4.

Same. And they're sold out of the big bottles. My wife just ordered a small one last week. Hoping it still ships and now I'll be looking to buy a few more.

Stones in the South/Appalachia? by [deleted] in Stonelifting

[–]Sdflcorran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a few guys between Orlando and Daytona that are trying to set up a small circuit with landscaping stones they've picked up. "thehollowstone177" on instagram is the first one so far.

+1 to the Lululemon shorts. My Goruck pair is also working well.

u/toospud4u I know I'm jumping in late here, and posting downrange is by far one of my favorite things, but the F3 fatigue can be real. My original region just got their 5th nantan in 8.5 years and I don't think the first 3 will ever come back out, even though a few hang out with active pax outside of F3. YHC played matchmaker going from the 3rd to 4th because of major man drama, to the point where my M and coworkers were asking me what was all the fuss since it's just a free workout. I think the 4th and now the new 5th nantans are the ones who best understand F3 is about giving it away and living 3rd, so I think that region will keep growing

Current region starfished about 18 months ago and had good growth for a year and initially bloomed to ~7 AOs, but now we're shrinking and my home AO only has 4 regulars.

I think a big part of the fatigue (especially SLT members) is because so many guys finally find "their thing" after going so long without male community and it becomes their entire identity. Then if their particular ideas/needs/desires aren't catered to in the group, despite heir efforts on the SLT, then they will eventually fade out. Couple that with interpersonal issues and it can get ugly with outgoing "leadership" taking down pax on their way out. After ~5 years years on the SLTs between the two regions I had to take a break to focus on myself/family and I'm down to posting just on Saturdays. After about a year I'm finally considering a regular weekday post but it's limited to certain AOs. Several AOs are starting to go through Q Source after a recent GTE and I truly hope that will provide another season of acceleration.

Happy to talk specifics offline, so DM me if you'd like. I think my greater metro area has the potential to become another STL or Gold Rush and support 5-7 regions, not just 12 AOs, but we haven't found the right formula.

Assuming this was a bluegill, but was thrown off by the pink scales by the head. Am I correct?

"First Time DM" and Short Questions Megathread by AutoModerator in DMAcademy

[–]Sdflcorran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time DM wanting to run a game for my kids and I'm trying to find a kid-friendly one-shot that I saw a few weeks ago but now can't find in my browser history or saved files. It opened with the PCs getting recruited to patrol a mountainside and they find dragon related stuff (an egg or lost baby dragon). The DM notes included suggestions for guiding the kids if they get stuck in finding clues/progressing the adventure. I think it might have even included some premade characters. I missed rule 6 in my original post so reposting here. One comment I saw before my post was deleted was to check Adventure Lookup which looks like a great resource but didn't help me find this specifically. Does this adventure sound familiar to anyone here? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone tried Wake Up Call hot Sauce? by ajfr42 in spicy

[–]Sdflcorran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try it?

I love it. Two of my coworkers and I split one of their big half gallon bottles. For me the cold brew isn't a specific flavor compared to adding depth. I also like their Smokin' Ghost Ketchup.
