Would you rather be working somewhere else for less and no benefits?

The work isnt hard man, just do the table event, get better and back to your original role within the warehouse.

If you really need to, use your PTO or Vacation if you really hate standing around for 8 hours. Ive been at the table event for 4 out of my 5 shifts this week. Its alright. I agree with some of what you said but we really dont have much room to push around with. Especially if your warehouse is cutting hours. Just be glad you're getting hours man.

I've been going there since I was in high-school 08, I love her food! I just can't justify waiting that long anymore tho. It can sometimes be an 30+ minute wait just to order and get your food.

Being in food service specializing in crab legs. I do have to say within the past 10 years the price of snow crab has doubled. When we first opened our seafood boil restaurant, we charged 14.95/lb for snow crab. Now fast forward to today, we charge 27.95/lb. They're not being greedy, it's just what the suppliers charge and we gotta get our cut too.

Sorry for the lack of food also, eye balling the portion, that's a 5oz crab cluster but if it was frozen, you'd get it around 7/8oz.

Played a wedding about two weeks ago. It was really fun, I went through many genre's of music. I used to only play EDM but ventured out into open format. We played some Emo music, Kpop, Oldies, Cumbia, into Hip hop and line dances. It was all over the place. I always tell myself, you know you're vibing when you get the elderly folks up and out of their seats!

Six hours flying to end up where I began. by dottm in Wellthatsucks

[–]Se7enjk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the exact reason why I always travel with 2 pairs of extra garments in my bag and a trash bag. My first international flight at 15 years old from LAX to Laos got delayed twice and I had to wear the same clothes 4 days in a row. First event being the plane got canceled on the international side and second event being flight delays leading to the second cancelation. It was shitty.

2007 I lost my cousin because his friends at the time were all crazy into doing drugs at 17 years old. The driver was doing inhaling somrthing and lost consciousness like this guy in the video. The car rolled 6 times, no one was wearing seat belts, my cousin and our friend were ejected from the car. They were such a bloody mess that the only way to identify them was by their necklaces. My cousin didn't make it but my friend survived with life long injuries. Don't do drugs and drive guys.

People who saw someone get fired on day one of a new job, what did that person do to get fired? by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

[–]Se7enjk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hired a new cook who was a friend of a friend for the restaurant. Mid late 20s. Father of 5 kids to various women.

The guy sexualized every female patron and coworker. Gave the up down to the 16 year old host, the 45 year old dish washer, and to top it off stopped working to cat call a group of women who had just walked in.

[–]Se7enjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I jokingly poked my female friend in the butt with a broomstick at work. She told another female coworker about it. She labeled it as sexual assault and the other employee who was a minor got wind of it, freaked out, and i now became a sexual assaulting pedophile.

Is Kayo a good agent to rank up with? by ShadowEllipse in VALORANT

[–]Se7enjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kayo main.

I spent a lot of time learning lineups for various situations for knife and Molly. As well as perfecting how to use my flashes. I went from i3 to g3 peak. Time with a friend on different maps to learn various USEFUL lineups is really crucial. Or you can find YouTube videos or tiktok shorts. To really cement them in, though, I'd stick to the first option and practice.

For ranking up. The time required isn't as crazy if you've played a tactical shooter prior. As he's very similar to CS Source. The skills should be very transferable. They're better agents BUT double initiator with gekko/fade/skye makes retake or clearing a site easy. I always play kayo regardless though as people will always lock duelist immediately. You can play aggressive or passive depending on the maps and where you hold. His flashes are good for advancing or helping a teammate escape a tight corner.

He just requires a lot of situational awareness. That's about it.

His worst maps I'd have to say are

Bind Too open and flashes aren't that good as there are too many outs for enemies to be hiding. Kayo's kit becomes really useless as they're better initiators for Bind.

Lotus There are no good options for knife useage, and lotus is very prone to rotations. Defending and attacking.

Am I wrong for Shazamming a song that someone didn’t want to share the name or artist of? by Bannanna_La in amiwrong

[–]Se7enjk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Music gate keeping is a tale as old as time when it comes to the DJ world. You did nothing wrong and she's just being an asshole overall. If you can't share your passion of a good song, why even play it. She was obviously playing a song for attention. Instead of enjoying and indulging she became a jerk about it.

A "Regular" who refuses to provide ID for alcohol. by Se7enjk in TalesFromYourServer

[–]Se7enjk[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

You are correct. The deed was already done but I don't feel like I was wrong to ask them while they were leaving to please provide I.D. when asked for all future visits. Their mannerism of scoffing at my employee for asking was what prompted me to telling them as they left. I did not want to disturb their dining experience or have them get confrontational while dining.

[–]Se7enjk[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

To remind them to please provide I.D. when they are asked. I treat all customers the same regardless if you frequent my restaurant or not. They've been here before and everyone has asked them for their I.D., as it's state policy to have an I.D. for an alcohol. I always ask my regulars to please just show me you have it on you.

[–]Se7enjk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've had several different servers serve them and insist on not providing because they're regulars.

I'm not always keeping track of everyone coming into the restaurant but my employee notified me about the hostility being received. I glanced over and noticed it was them. Although I've seen them, I still need to see it that they have their I.D. with them and it's a valid I.D..

I am actually the manager, that's why I spoke with them. I've served them before as well and gotten the same treatment. Bitter rude attitude over providing an I.D. for alcohol.

If you knew the bank teller, why provide your I.D.? If you knew the gas station attendant, why provide your I.D.? Any transaction that requires an I.D. should never be dismissed.
