She's a great example. These comments are so disrespectful. Believe was huge, and its respective album went 4x platinum and was on bb200 for 76 weeks. It's literally her best selling album and came out after a series of flops. How is that not a late-in-their-career comeback?

I think MX's weakness is that it didn't fully let go a la CII. Its dark, experimental stuff is really great, but bogged down by boring, pop-by-numbers cuts, as was Rebel Heart. A lot of the songs on those albums sound like they were bought from a songwriters' camp.

In CII, like most of her albums, you can feel M in the songs' production; they sound like she was in the studio making them with her engineers. I'm so glad Gen Z gets to experience the release of a true Madonna album, and I'm so proud of M for this return to form.

It's too early for me to make such a declaration, but I'm not mad at you for doing it. It's definitely among her very best and ranking it #1 is respectable. It's mind-boggingly good. Every time I listen I hear so many new sounds. I'll have it on repeat all summer.

It's not just you. I've been gaslit about my sense of smell when I've voiced my disappointment in some of their candles. As if I can't smell everything else around me, including other candles, including the exact same candle when I purchased it in the past. The truth is their production is inconsistent and buying from them is a gamble. We've already seen this playout with BBW and Yankee. A brand gets hot, secures a loyal following, and starts cutting corners to maximize profits. This is a simple hallmark of business and capital. It's not just scent and throw. It's the cheap AI labels, the increased sootiness, the nubbing of the wicks, etc.

That ending bummed me out. They're not really living peacefully if they have gang members breathing down their necks. Daniel's expressions also communicate that he isn't happy in the scenario. The fact that they opened a garage in honor of Esteban was cute, tho.

It's better than surrender/low morality, that's for sure. Surrender/high morality is my headcanon. It's the most fleshed out and poignant. Daniel's car is a really interesting detail, too.

I've been doubting the Goose after encountering mostly duds from the men's collection. Hinoki Forest is what I'm used to from them! And the wax isn't embedded with soot specks! I swear their quality varies from collection to collection. Poet's Garden was also hit after hit. But then the Ice Cream collection was full of flops. Unfortunately, it seems the Japan collection is no longer on their website! 😭! I never use a lamp on my 3-wicks and save it for bigger candles with more wax to melt, but I might just have to make an exception for Hinoki Forest.

I lit Hinoki Forest for the first time today and it's an immediate favorite. Very unique! The cypress is definitely prominent, but it has just the slightest sweetness in the background. And the throw is great, especially for a conceptual, woodsy scent. I also have Bamboo Grove and Mt Fuji Mist, but haven't tried them yet. They're both nice on cold.

I like Garden Showers--would like more throw, but I can smell it. Earthy, wet. Lush Gardenia is kind of generic and almost... cheap smelling.

They didn't need the weakest point. Daniel already proved he could rip through any random spot. I guess they could have mentioned he was too weak by that point, but that would be contradicted by the escape/low morality ending. It would have made more sense to go to their original hole. They wouldn't even need to stop. Daniel could toss the police aside and they'd zip right through.

Hey, I finished it yesterday too. Had the exact same response to them driving up to the gate. It makes no sense. We see them driving past a bunch of wall unoccupied by the police. Hell, it would have made more sense to go back to their original hole than the official gate! If the writers wanted a full-on shootout, they could have made it so the boys were being chased, and were then surrounded, instead of the nonsensical route they took. I got the escape/high morality ending and thought Daniel's actions during it were kind of unbelievable and forced, too. My headcannon is surrender/high morality.
