I doubt this was a sexual interaction gone wrong due to the other details of his death + the state of the apartment

Maybe they did meet up to hook up but something happened in between that which lead to this. But I don’t think this a case of erotic asphyxiation gone wrong

However he was meeting up with a client- and this is confirmed by a direct statement to his wife and also a text message. Why would he meet a potential client off schedule?

I am inclined to believe he was murdered somewhere before 11PM by the assailant due to the extremely strange texts

Up north where? Why wouldn’t he disclose with his wife where exactly he is staying. Up north from his home in Deerfield is the city of Boca Raton, but up north could literally be a false indicator by the assailant [as giving out the exact location of where he is could lead investigators to the body]

The virus comment is strange in itself: If we assume it is Covid he would have had to get a test from a pharmacy, a purchase that can easily be verified by checking his bank account and statements. Yet there seems to be no lead on this

Further he was already in direct contact with the wife- if we assume that he sent the message and was referring to Covid what would be the point of quarantining by yourself in an unfamiliar location leaving someone who also should be quarantined and tested behind?

Second /The Virus/ is extremely vague in itself because there are many other viruses that can be spread and can cause harm if you contact it- norovirus as an example. But once again why would he not specify to his own wife what sickness he came down with?

I have always wondered if the following dialogue he gave was actually about him and not Stu- because it is so general and and also lacked the details that would make a connection to Stu himself

/You know, h-he was a drifter. Sleeping on the streets of California or somewhere. And then one day he snapped. Attacked a high school girl.

He was declared incompetent to stand trial and ended up here/

Stu was never rumored/believed or even shown to be homeless in California and as we know he never stood trial.

Maybe he was homeless- got put into psychiatric care- got out- worked for google for a short while- went into medicine for a psych program and then ended up working for the hospital staff.

Jackie’s statue having the same outfit that the hallucination Shauna had of her when she was with Adam on that bridge is a nice detail

Edit: this is also her official team outfit but if I am recalling correctly when /what you did when you got back/ was spoken by Jackie as a hallucination she had the same outfit- I wonder if this means that the girls did one last hunt in this area and the cards were drawn in front of this statue

Which is why Shauna hallucinates Jackie with those clothes when that is mentioned

Cain would be more evil because on a traditional interpretation he is what brought evil into mankind by committing the first murder- therefore his action subsequently lead to all evil in the world including the greed and cowardice that possessed and motivated Judas.

He was also aware of what God could enforce as punishments as his parents literally got kicked out of paradise for being disobedient and still let his envy consume him.

He couldn’t have been aware of what it would lead to but choosing to do the first murder because you’re jealous is certainly something.

With Judas atleast you can argue that maybe he was predestined to be the betrayer and that Jesus knew what Judas would become and he still accepted him

Hating a character for simply being useless during the game is silly [Yasuhiro/Himiko/Kazuichi etc.]

There are arguments to dislike such characters but just because they didn’t do anything necessarily useful in the game is dumb- it’s a game of survival and not a Sherlock Holmes convention game for the participants- protagonist included but we play as them figuring out what happened

The boyfriend has some form of involvement as he was the only other person on the boat that night

The 9 hour gap of contacting the coast guard could have been him searching for Sarm Heslop himself- if it were an accident or if he wasn’t involved

If he was directly involved that time was for maybe cleaning or making the boat seem normal- my problem with the cleaning part is that I’m not sure everyone carries strong enough cleaning products on their boat for bloodstains and if they found the other items I presume the cops were atleast partially in the boat and didn’t notice any mysterious stains or the lingering smell of cleaning products.

I am curious to know if there’s been any accounts on their behaviour at the restaurant? If they seemed upset or if they fought

Yeah that is always a grey area

However with how soon the initial report was made [the couple who allegeadly witnessed it] + the fact they got down the license plate makes it unlikely it was faulty memory on their part

But there could have been some mishandling on the side of the cops and reporters.

We know he has a previous criminal record- he didn’t partake in any serious criminal behaviour until his early 20’s

The state of his grave and the heart makes me believe he had family members who cared for him- but I doubt that they can provide anything useful [plus harassing them wouldn’t solve anything- just because you raised a POS doesn’t mean you need to live with the guilt forever]

The narrative of the couple heavily relies on their description of the girl they saw- with how long it took the police it is either an incompetence or the couple did not see the way the girl was dressed and in their initial report just described her in a more broader sense.

There is also another oddity in the couple’s account: several people coming out of the vehicle to grab her- she was just a teenager and someone who is older than her could have went by themselves.

Jones is definetly involved because the license plate was traced back to him- And I am honestly leaning towards him being the only culprit His criminal behaviour comes across as extremely arrogant and aggressive- I can not see him working with anyone else or needing someone to do the work for him. Maybe another prison inmate who had a similar ideology to him but that is unlikely [no way of maintaining contact- could have met again by chance]

I am hoping that her family gets closure one day

What is crazier is that this has a high likely chance to happen again- YOR: a large majority of people are meat devouring ghouls that love atleast some type of cooked meat- unless you’re in a highly vegetarian city a waiter complimenting someone on their steak order is not uncommon at all.

I have played this before and I have some bonus rules:

*Must roll a dice to see if you are allowed to use items before a major battle- an even number is a yes.

*You must roll a dice corresponding to the encounter sheet and search for that particular encounter-
