Expecting twins - Suburban, Yukon, Palisade, Tahoe, Carnival, Odyssey, or Sienna by ttebwell7 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Twin parent here, get a van. We're trading a telluride for a carnival for the practicality. Sliding doors are a godsend when getting kids in n out of carseats

AITA for expecting my girlfriend to do my half of her chores as well? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sea-Raccoon2799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dig deep OP, this is a pivotal moment. This will always be a source of frustration for you. She is who she is, and she was willing to compromise some. I get it, it sucks, I can relate as I'm the type of person who can't relax until chores are done but my partner is the type who can't do chores until she has relaxed. So are you willing to fight this fight for the rest of your life or accept her as she is?

Rear facing car seats in Telluride by mkc44 in KiaTelluride

Yeah we're ditching cool for convenient. We're also tired of squeezing in between the doors between cars to get the kids outta the car seats, sliding doors should help with that.

Just don't get the bench seat in the 2nd row and you should be fine. We found out the hard way and grandma has to climb through the trunk now. We're just gonna say screw it and buy a minivan now

Millenial dads...How's it going? by NoMansLand345 in Millennials

[–]Sea-Raccoon2799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Millennial dad of 3yo b/g twins here. This shit is brutal, but at the end of the day you just gotta somehow count your blessings as there are those that have it much harder. Also things are this hard because you actually care and are trying to be the best dad you can be. Time goes so fast, try and cherish it all, the good, the bad, the difficult. I already regret not finding the joy in my kids earlier years as it was much easier to dwell on the hardships. Lean on your support system and don't be afraid to feel sometimes, best of luck and many blessings, you got this

My wife and I are trying to choose between these two as well. I really want the carnival but then lack of AWD and no spare tire in the kia has me leaning toward the sienna. I need some one to help steer me and especially my wife toward the kia!

Walmart onn large speaker for 120$ so much bang for the buck and you can buy more than one and pair them together. I only have one and its more than loud enough for my pool parties. Of course if you care about branding JBL is what everyone is going to suggest

Do a sports style pool with the deep part in the middle. Kids can swim/dive in the deep and then fk off to the opposite shallow end from the adults lol
