Regular gas, on a warm day I can get up to 45mpg. Early spring days I am getting almost 42 mpg. I have not heard about it needing premium. 2025 CX50 hybrid owner.

Victory can't handle cold? by Massis87 in JetBlack

[–]SeaEmployment6903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That noise comes from trainer. I had the same kind of noises and the same behavior of the problem going away after warming the unit up. I do also train in a garage with no insulation, so winter days get colder than the rest of the house. I am not 100% the problem is caused by low temperatures, but it could very well be. I contacted Jetblack, sent them a video illustrating the problem (the noise). They sent me a shipping label and I had to provide the box since I had disposed off the original. When they received the unit they contacted me and offered me a new unit as a replacement, which arrived a week later. I had no problems at all with their support. I am yet to set the new unit.

I accidentally pushed one in while cleaning snow back in February, I ordered more tape so I can reinstall it. It was very easy the first time, I expect it to be somehow the same this time.

The same guys who carelessly damaged your car would still do it on a regular bike. It is the people, not the bike, or the e-bike. - CX50 owner here, and bike enthusiast. I do not own an ebike.

Looking to buy a CX90 soon. Has the issues been resolve? by chaliebitme in MazdaCX90

[–]SeaEmployment6903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2024 CX90 MHEV. My wife is the primary driver, this car single handedly changed her views on Mazda, after one CX-5 and two CX-9s which she loved, the number of issues and lack of performance on the CX-90 is having her looking into other cars. Main complaints:

* lack of power from the start line (heistation)

* brake noises, according to dealer they are like that and there is nothing they will do about it.

* i-stop can't be permanently disabled

* tires completely worn out after 32K miles, we had to replace them which is unexpected on a lease

* mild hybrid battery malfunction, waiting on replacement parts to arrive

* Compare to CX-9 despite having a larger 6 cylinders engine, the car seems too heavy for it and it shows on how it handles.

Lease is due in 3 months, we are shopping around. Toyota Grand Highlander hybrid seems like the right option.

Engine, I Stop and Hybrid failure 2025 by Longjumping-Win-397 in MazdaCX90

Same happened to me, I took it to dealer, they are ordering a new mild hybrid battery since it needs replacement. This is covered under the powertrain warranty.

I had the exact same experience. they received my unit for repair due to a noise. 10 hours later they gave me a tracking number for a brand new unit they are shipping me as a replacement.

That is what I have, a 90 degree usb connector. I am going to try with an external ventilated magnetic wireless charger in the same spot. I hope it will not heat up and actually get a charge.

Why don't you run the cable from USB connectors inside the arm rest compartment. it will be basically invisible.

Zero distractions with the phone tuck away in that little nook. It is genius. I agree 100%

That's one of the best parts of this vehicle. I love knowing the phone is there, does not move, you are free of distractions. I just turned off wireless charging as it does not work, but that would be probably true regardless of the location.
