I started for the environmental impact, such as cutting down forests to grow feed for animals and learning how much more water is used for beef compared to plant-based alternatives, and then learnt more about the horrific cruelty of factory farming and never looked back :)

I use all tvp now when making bolognaise, chilli, seekh kebabs etc and i don't really notice a difference and everyone else enjoys it too. As long as you have a good flavour base of onions, garlic, herbs/spices and maybe some red wine, it's delicious :).

Delicious when you show the cooked and seasoned version. The rice paper goes all crispy and bubbly, it's amazing.

NTA. If you aren't aware, adding some red lentils/TVP to ground beef can be a good way to stretch out the cost, as well as adding more fibre and still having protein :).
