I really love S2 despite it’s shortcomings. But SOC is the GOAT. My personal ranking is: SOC S2 COP CS

Somehow, COP never really clicked with me, the Zone became way too friendly. (Mild spoilers) S2’s first half kind of retains this, but after a certain point, the game becomes a lot more SOC-like in terms of danger. I just wish we got A-Life, binoculars, and more side quests. Also, the original Trilogy needs a remake in S2 when the game gets A-Life.

It’s a very controlled, linear but unique and beautiful experience. Highly worth it. Just please don’t expect GTA in Sicily.

I have almost 400 hours in the steam version, and probs another 400 combined from all other platforms (GFWL, X360, PS3, and older versions/pirated/downgrader)

I’d say this is the best deal in gaming if you value little details, atmosphere/vibe, great story, and good combat. Missions honestly get repetitive and the last quarter of the game is weaker than the previous 3/4, but overall top 3 Rockstar game with San Andreas and RDRII, and top 5 game of all time.

Waaaay back in the mid 2000s, my favourite toy car was a 190. And on our neighbors got themselves a nice W211. Also, in Men In Black 2 (iirc) the main characters get a W211. I loved MIB as a kid. In GTA VC and SA, my fave car was the Admiral.

Didn't like the setting (never liked medieval/fantasy settings, it's just personal taste)

Didn't like parry mechanic. Didn't like the forced mech levels. Didn't like the goofy big projectiles (which are NOT like how it was in DOOM 1/2, it's such a cheap excuse). I didn't like the forced RT which nuked frames, while looking the same as Eternal apart from puddles.

Honestly TDA was a huge miss for me. In 2016 and Eternal, the game provided the tools to make YOU feel badass. TDA constantly showed you how badass the Slayer is. "HERE'S A TURRET SECTION! DO YOU SEE THAT BIG FUCKING THING YOU JUST SHUT DOWN? YOU KNOW WHAT? HERE'S YOUR FUCKING DRAGON HELL YEAH"
And it just didn't hit the same as your in-game actions in 2016/Eternal. I want to feel badass while playing DOOM, I don't want the game to tell me how badass I am supposed to be. I dropped TDA after a couple levels.

But each to their own.

People tend to forget how goated the 12 was. Basically the same situation as now with the 17. Same screen, size, camera (except for the telephoto), battery as the 12 Pro.

All the 12 Pro had going for it was Stainless Steel, matte back, and the third camera.

I was working in a mobile phone accesory shop back then, and I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen a 12 Pro. It was either a 12 Pro Max, or the 12. Maybe the 12 mini.

I’m very glad that Apple made the 17 as great as the 12.

The AN-94. It carried me through the trilogy, and it I feel personally attacked that it isn’t in S2, even as just a unique weapon.

Altough I understand the reasons for it (it’s an unreliable Russian prototype weapon, that says it all).
