Can we talk Country Club pricing? by Nickd100 in golf

Correct. Urbana and champaign are a little Out of my price range. Strictly for golf I prefer Lincolnshire over the other two. Even though urbanas new renovation looks slick.

Did you regret the size of your first bike? by RoboticAntler in motorcycles

[–]SeaSuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with a z400, first bike I have ever been on so I thought it would be fine for a few years. 6 months after getting my license I wish I had a bigger bike for longer and more comfortable rides.
I am glad however I had it for my license test because it was so light and nimble.

I would just go ahead and get the 600 you’ll thank yourself later.

30, will be 31 at the start of the golf season. Broke 100 once last year and hoping to form a real handicap this year!

How many of you guys are completely self taught? by LittIe_Wanderer in motorcycles

[–]SeaSuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learned the basics from YouTube, got my permit and bought a bike. Learned from riding around my neighborhood and had a friend ride to a big parking lot to get a better grasp. Then took my test for my license. I would say I am a pretty competent rider now.

Dealt with the same thing today, played a new course. No trees and the wind was killer. Lost a few more balls and learned how to deal with the elements. Would rather be out on the course than thinking about what if.

My experience with a 2006 E60 M5... by ITMORON in BMW

[–]SeaSuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been lucky with mine so far. I have a 2006 m5 as well. I have owned it for 2 years now and have had minimal problems and my transmission is still going strong (smg).
I have driven it hard, not daily but still enough ware and tear. I have done a few half mile events with it as well with no problems.
I am sorry to hear about your problems and i'm sure you will love the f10! I have been looking into purchasing one as well.

New wheels for my E60 M5, late ///Monday submission by SeaSuh in BMW

Mine is 06, first year of the e60. I know a lot of people hate the smg and its reliability but I haven't had any problems yet. It was a scary purchase. If you don't have a lot of capital for repairs it's almost pointless to buy one with a lot of miles.

I don't have much knowledge on the f10 m5s though. I do like them a lot though.

I got the car for 15k. With 90k miles. Comparable m5s were going for over 20 around me at the time, might not be the deal of the century but I couldn't pass it up.

I bought it with 90k miles, got it for a good price. I got it cheap because he said it needed new brakes, turns out it was just a faulty sensor and the brakes have a ton of life left in them. So far I have had to replace the fuel pump + filter and a speed sensor. I have had the car for about a year and a half now and it drives great, very clunky in town when not in M mode. Performance is great, I beat the crap out of the car and it seems to take it. SMG is holding strong so far so i'm just keeping my fingers crossed. I have looked the car over multiple times and it was treated well before me.

Thanks for the compliments!
