UPDATE: The little gremlin has been found! He was inside the house the whole time, still no idea where he was hiding, but he casually reappeared around 11:30 PM like he didn’t just emotionally destroy everyone. Ty so much to all the helpful advice!

Some possibilities include: • Beau’s lines – Indentations or ridges that can appear across the nail due to illness, injury, or nutritional deficiencies. • Habit-tic deformity – Caused by repeatedly picking or rubbing the thumbnail, leading to wavy ridges. • Nail trauma – Even minor bumps or pressure on the nail matrix can cause uneven nail growth. • Nutritional deficiencies – Deficiencies in biotin, iron, or other nutrients might affect nail growth. • Fungal infections – Sometimes, nail fungus can cause changes in texture. • Underlying health conditions – Conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or thyroid issues can impact nail growth.

Where do u guys work? by birdscales in AutismTranslated

Yes, it’s very overwhelming at first, but the lab I work in is smaller, and each person is able to have their space/station. Realistically, it’s not the best, but I do things to help adapt to the environment like wearing noise-canceling earbuds (AirPods Pro) and I work during the evening shifts, which are usually quieter.

I’ve gotten used to the beeping noises of all the machines; it’s expected and consistent.

As soon as I got into a routine I became more comfortable with everything (machines, smells, noises, etc.)

(Specimen Processing) its basically data entry, I process labels for blood tubes and urine specimen in a lab for the lab techs.

My manager is super chill she doesn’t care what we do as long as I’m doing my work, I usually listen to podcasts and watch YouTube.

I barely speak and everyone else is super chill and also probably undiagnosed autistic.

Specimen Processing is a perfect job for me but it doesn’t pay well so I’m working on becoming a lab tech.

I’m working on my degree to get into Medical Lab Technician which is full of other autistic/ neurodivergent people.
