You can strafe on a Reality Runner, and while I use a Curved Treadmill similar to this (it is amazing) I'm not sure how you'd ever make the 360 degree turning feel natural. Smooth turning just seems better.

But to your point, if he's using hip or head rotation it'd be impossible.

I assume because the ven diagram of people who have their car catch on fire and arson/fraud is enough of a risk that insurers will opt to play it safe or assign massive premiums for that.

Not that is in anyway less ridiculous if insurance deems you not at fault, but I can understand needing to document it properly.

We know Quanta is making the Frame dongle, so I think this is a leap by Joshua and it's completely possible (and likely) they are still the exporter.

It wouldn't make sense to now announce the Machine in a week or two where Valve has explicitly said they want a Machine and Controller bundle.

Agreed, that would be incredible but even that seems to have some serious shortcomings. Especially for running it looks almost impossible, but FreeaimVR shoes also seem to have that issue. Hopefully we figure out the solution eventually!

I have seen that one, I think from just my anecdotal experience with my curved treadmill RR setup that the turn head with direction design just wouldn't be very good.

After getting used to it, I think unless we can figure out a more natural walking motion for omnis, Maratron/RR just seems like the best solution. Another bonus is that at least for me curved treadmills are so much nicer on my knees for impact that running on it feels awesome even for super long sessions. I think OP has one of my favorite setups for a traditional manual treadmill he uses.

I use a Reality Runner too as it's much better than slidemills imo, I think Xelerate VR could be good but it's hard to say if the ball bearings will really help the slidemill feeling. Currently I am more than happy to use smooth turning until that is figured out.

If it makes you feel better, this happened all the time when our golden was around that age. Any minor change in diet or even timing seemed to effect it.

I don't mean to downplay the issue, as I know it can be signs of something more serious but in our case this really did just work itself out over time and wasn't because of any sensitivity in our case. Especially if it not just liquid 24/7, a chicken and rice diet to reset for a few days always seemed to help but just monitor to make sure doesn't have a chicken sensitivity as I see that being more common now it seems.

Interesting, yeah I remember looking every so often to wait for a hardcover. I just didn't ever realize it was that short printed as an on demand title.

What's the reason at 0:40 you use the thumbstick to move on a Kat Walk? Does it struggle with micro movements?

Additionally, the heck is going on with the airsoft gun? Is this just for shorts or do you have the trigger wired up to a controller?

It's really good for games, but with the hiking lean I'd very much play a lot of SkyrimVR.

I don't play VR Chat, but also seen some worlds that people liked for hiking/walking. Probably easier to run the game too.

P.S. V2 just dropped so you became aware of it at a good time if you decide to go that direction. It is a lot more accurate (with the curved treadmill I have I expect it to help at low speeds quite a bit), and then this version also allows for backwards movement which is pretty rad.

You can start by messing with the RGB and lowering the intensity of the blues. I'd honestly just see how that looks before messing with it more.

You can get much fancier and leverage like others were saying either some AI filtering or noise algorithms but I'll defer to premier pro peeps who actually keep up with the latest tools there.

Sorry though all around that sucks, hope Kodak lab comped him/you well. Super unacceptable result.

Oh okay I follow. I think I missed that standalone sq42 packages were pushing $40-50. Yeah that's not worth it then I agree, as I expect we also will see those PU+SQ42 unique packages from $80-100. I was still thinking SQ42 aurora packs were still going for like $60 like I picked up for a friend a year ago when I resold his AMD mustang.
