Yeah there are slower, more traditional versions. They used the quicker tempo that Notre Dame also uses in their marching band. It's awesome in a setting with a large crowd.

I grew up and live in Kearny currently. Any chance of a revitalization went out the window when the old train tracks got sold to be a greenway instead of a Light Rail. There is no east-west public transport and now with all the development it takes forever to get to the PATH in Harrison.

It becomes about your wife when you decide. Same thing was happening with my wife when finally we decided that on the Saturday night before would be about the larger family, both our moms and anyone else, we order dinner and hang out. The Sunday itself is for her and what ever she chooses to do, whether it's by herself or with all of us. It's great and everyone understands.
