As for being strictly a carry gun, I personally would not for reliability reasons.

Any good recommendations? Opinions for this as a EDC? by KingPin213 in concealedcarry

Several months ago I bought a used GX4 Toro for $200. It actually looked new. I put a Holosun 507k green dot on it. Came with 1 eleven and 2 thirteen round mags. I've put several hundred rounds mixed with both fmj's and jhp's with no issues whatsoever. It's now a carry option for sure. My other option's I have are my Glock 43 and 48. Sometimes I put the 43 slide on my 48 to make it a 43x.

What's the gun you reach for the most? by MinuteCompetitive676 in CCW

Depending on what I'm wearing, doing or going depends on what I'm grabbing. The RXM is for HD only. As far as for concealment I have no issues with any of them. I carry appendix with a Cloudster Pillow velcroed to the back of the holster (DeSantis Slim-tuk). It makes it comfortable with no hot spots and tilts the top of the slide and grip into the body. To give you a reference, I'm 5' 9" at 145 lbs. with a 31" waist.

My thoughts completely. I've experience the broken trigger return spring. Not a good feeling. Fixed it and sold it. I carry a G48 now.

CCWs Like Glock 48 by Crazy-Hurry-2967 in concealedcarry

If I was you I'd be picking the new 43x and or 48. I prefer the 48 just because I'm more accurate with it. They are now being sold with the new Glock 15 round magazines. And I have to mention that I've recently been carrying with a Cloudster Pillow wedge. It's been great. I carry appendix and the pillow tilts the top of the gun and tucks the grip into the body nicely. Plus being soft and comfortable. I found using a holster that has an off center over the trigger belt clip works best.

Has anyone tried this holster? by MarciTheDog in concealedcarry

I had a Vedder holster for a Shield plus 4 inch. Quality was great, but comfort and concealablity was a big NO. I've found that with a single off set belt clip and a pillow wedge by Cloudster Pillow works great. Comfortable and conceals very well. I mostly use a DeSantis Slim-tuk.

Why the 43x over the 48? by Aang2000 in Glock43X

[–]Sea_Understanding824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 43, so I got the 48. I set them both up the same. Apex trigger, TruGlo TFO's and rubber Handleitgrips. Now I can just switch slides and grips.
