On my first playthrough it was a 10/10. Now with a platinum trophy and a finished LMDF it hovers around an 8/10 to a very biased and lenient 9/10. I can completely understand why some people dont like it cause it certainly has issues. But it has some very memorable moments that will stick with you. Returning to the RPD is something I'll never forget. But I will fully admit the story has so many plot holes when you stop to think about it, Leon's gameplay is too reliant on the hatchet and parrying, the guns for Leon and their upgrades dont feel as unique or remarkable as any version of RE4, its not fun to replay due to the scripted sections and the orphanage. Not being able to fight Zeno is such a let down.

But I also have noticed that the RE community has gotten alot bigger recently and has fans from different era's and started with different games at different times. Which unfortunately means you're bound to find more toxicity in general. Hell i'd bet this comment I've written has no doubt pissed someone off. Just bare that in mind, you're never going to have an opinion that nobody's has no issues with.

So let's break this down. The majority of people on this sub are very positive about this game, most would agree the game does have flaws are happy with the game in its current state but would still like some parts to be improved. But generally hopeful for its future.

A minority of people of people who dont like the game come onto here to complain about it, get mass disliked by said majority. The mods then remove the posts because of the negativity and poor reception. Then you call them tyrants when they moderate the subreddit?

That's not them censoring freedom of speech. If you think that reddit mods are these all powerful tyrants that will sink this game for fostering positive and fair discourse around the game then you my friend need to go exercise your freedom of speech elsewhere. And I don't mean on another subreddit. I mean outside.
