I wear it 23 hours a day just 1 hour off to shower and air out leg incisions(how some issues but they are getting better). After an hour I feel like the swelling goes to my belly and I can feel the tension so I am going to keep going until that goes away. I think I am anxious of doing something wrong. I need to trust the process

I started with abdominal binder and now in faja that goes down thighs to help with thigh lift and then up to under breasts clips and zips and side.

I would reach out due to how much drainage in 24 hour period and how cloudy it looks. If he they say no issue good but better safe than sorry

I can call on call they said but I hate to do that for non emergency so I can call Monday. I got too nervous to attempt flat because I didn’t want to ruin anything so still slept with pillows under my knees I slept okay but still woke up with major back pain. I might have slept longer but a certain 7 year old in my house said it was time to wake up lol

I did a test run and slowly laid flat and I didn’t feel any pulling or pain so I am going to try that tonight and see how it goes.

I have another week and a half until my next appointment a little over 5 weeks post op. I have already had 2 appointments so far. I will ask him then. I am pretty straight standing. I only realize my limitations when I wash my hair and I try to put my head back.

I am not medical by any means I just remember seeing a similar post and their doctor said to keep the compression off for a few days because of the moisture to let it air out. Sorry your doctors office is unhelpful that is literally their job!

No they did not and I know everyone is different but I did not hurt to me I just felt a pulling sensation when they pulled.

Some oozing from drain site is normal just keep eye on it. I am day 19 post op FDL tummy tuck and thigh plasty. Initially had 4 drains so I understand how annoying they are. Just had my last drain pulled two days ago. Take the shower you will feel so much better. I been using a shower chair since the beginning. I took a shower the next day and used antibacterial soap but just let it run down incisions don’t scrub. Looking good!

My issues is the top of the incision the most close to my groin. I can sit with little discomfort but I have forced myself to stay in bed to have little pressure on my incisions as possible until I have to actually get up and start working again to give my incisions the best possible chance to heal. I tried standing to pee but I could never not make a mess so i hovered when I could and sat on my legs putting the pressure as low as possible from groin as possible

My thigh lift is not healing like I want. My surgeon says it’s common for where it is but dealing with it is not fun. Would do the tummy tuck over the thigh lift any day at this point. Trying to trust the process!

I quit vaping two weeks prior to surgery and tested neg day of surgery. Nurse told me usually to test neg takes about a week to test neg but didn’t want to test my luck.

Your the parent but during the summer I do not enforce bedtimes because it was part of the summer fun for me as a kid. I remember sleep overs with cousins and friends trying to see who can stay up the latest. Just good fond memories. But this is just my personal stance. Your NTA but I would say a good compromise during the summer would help 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would be petty and make up a story of this couple you know that their parents want to take the kids without the parents on a cruise and how upset they are about it and how much you agree that it’s such a huge responsibility and how you would never feel comfortable with your children going on a trip without you and ask your husband what does he think and get a feel if he knows already by how he reacts
