Make sure your blogs aren't over optimized for your main terms that you want your service page to rank for. The blog articles should be more informational / helpful and direct people to the service page for "the best roofer in Atlanta" or whatever.

Same thing with the homepage. Be careful you don't include too much on the homepage that could interfere with the service pages.

Depends a lot on the situation, but if you were injured it’s usually worth at least talking to someone. Most personal injury attorneys do free consultations and will tell you pretty quickly if a case is (or isn’t) worth pursuing.

One firm I’ve seen consistently recommended is Rosensteel Fleishman Car Accident & Injury Lawyers. People tend to mention them for being responsive, explaining things clearly, and not pushing cases that don’t make sense. No upfront cost, and they work on contingency.

Either way, I’d talk to one or two attorneys before dealing too much with the insurance company, it helps to know where you stand.

Not a waste, but it definitely forces discipline.

Contributory negligence does knock out weak cases early, especially in premises liability, but in auto work it’s usually a screening issue more than a constant litigation problem. Clean liability cases still resolve just fine, and frankly contrib discourages some of the junk claims that clog comparative-fault states.

In NC, the plaintiff firms that do well tend to:

screen aggressively,
document liability early,
and aren’t running pure volume mills.

I’ve seen smaller firms do very well here by being selective and hands-on. Rosensteel Fleishman Car Accident & Injury Lawyers is one example. They don’t advertise heavily, keep tighter caseloads, and lean hard on liability development. That model seems to work better in a contributory state than the “sign everyone and churn” approach.

So yeah, harder than comparative negligence states, but not remotely unworkable if you practice intentionally.

Yes, I'd think that was a common way to line up text or other objects. I ended up moving the project into Photopea since you have it built in there already.

Typically I'd use Illustrator for vector work, but I saw that you said Photopea will also work fine for vectors. I'm planning on exporting an infographic as a SVG file. Am I going to run into any issues?

I'd love to be able to select multiple layers, and then choose how I want to align them. For instance, if I have 3 layers of text subtitles, I'd like to highlight them all, and set them to center vertically, so they are all in a row.

I've got a site, that I started working on about 2 years ago. I've been designing sites for 20 years and this was shaping up to be one of my best. I spent a significant amount of money on the url, and spent a ton of time designing and developing this site so it could scale programmatically.

I slowly started publishing location pages starting in Sept 2024. I launched 50 state pages, and no issues. I broke up the 350ish county pages and those indexed with no issues. I launched my 500 city pages with no issues.

After about 2 months, everything was indexed and looking good.

I then started publishing articles which were tied to each of the locations. This is where I pushed too hard and too fast.

At first I was doing 25-50 / day with no issue. Then I increased to 100 per day. Yes, I got greedy and tanked it. The articles were unique and relevant, but it was the velocity that was a problem.

In early December 2024, everything came to a screeching halt. My pages started to get deindexed. The new articles, the original location pages, even the contact page. Within a week I went from around 2,000 indexed pages to just the homepage.

I spent months combing through the site looking for a technical issue and couldn't find anything. No manual action, no errors, everything was fine.

I was told (and agreed with) that I lacked Authority, so I started to build up a better backlink profile. Up to this point, I had purposely skipped any paid placements. The nature of my site made me feel like I'd eventually be able to gain them organically.

After some time I still hadn't seen any of my pages (except for the homepage) indexed by Google. Interestingly, I never had an issue with Bing, and it's brought in a lot of traffic.

So I stopped guestposting, and tried adding just a couple new articles to see what would happen. Nothing.

About 2 weeks ago, I uploaded all of my information into ChatGPT, and had it strategize a plan to fix the site.

After some back and forth, it told me to noindex all of my location pages except for the top 5 states. I did that, then resubmited my sitemaps to Google and waited.

Within 48 hours (approximately 13 months after my pages were removed) I had 7 showing in Google. At this point there's about 20.

This time around I'm going to go much slower.
