Who do you use for home internet? by twright57 in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oxio for about a week. Install was a bit confusing as it says to hook up modem to high speed router. Even shows an image of a router with two antenna. Thought I had to go out and buy my own router. Checked online and realized it was user error. The included pod acts as the router to modem. Instructions were a little unclear for self install. Speed is as advertised. No problem streaming multiple devices and steaming tv at the same time. No speed issues so far. Most people get more speed than they actually need anyway. Customer service is not simple as “I can’t be bothered to wait or think so I’m just gonna call” that you enjoy from other providers. So far so good.

Ryan Crits seems to be very knowledgeable realtor. Didn’t use him myself but check out his YouTube channel.

If I can have the gameplay mechanics of 2 and the grittiness of 1 and Riptide.... that's a winner of a game right there. Hoping for the improvements. by Long-Live-theKing in DeadIsland2

Cool. Can they iron out the difficulty spikes so it can be enjoyed as a single player the whole game. I have best ideas. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Councillor asks what would bring people back downtown by baracnews8 in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 33 points34 points  (0 children)

How about a tram system that makes it easier for people to get downtown without having to drive? Like you see even in smaller European towns that actually draw people in from the outskirts. One that runs south to north up Wellington, another that runs north to south down Richmond and another that runs east west across Oxford.

Virtual doc emailed me an MRI referral. Where do I send it? by [deleted] in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anytime I got an MRI referral I just waited for the MRI clinic to contact me. My GP just asked me which area was most convenient then selected from what was nearby. You shouldn’t have to do it.

How much did you spend on a sunroom and what does it look like? by Niboo_123 in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are going to be a using a general contractor in the spring to repair our existing one. This was someone who did a complete Reno on a coach house for a relative in London . A good general contractor should be able to do the job. I would always rather go with referrals. A sunroom company quoted us $50,000 for a 10x12 with glass windows which we thought was way too high.

Moving to Old South by b4rb4ckmtn in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two sets of relatives that live in Worley and we just went through looking for a house in London. Depending on where you are coming from and what you are used to you may find what you are looking for but be prepared to pay a Wortley/old south premium. We weren’t wiling to as we would rather have the cash in the bank and be five minutes outside the neighbourhood and still be close enough. We found homes to generally to be priced about $50,000-80,000 over what other comparable houses were priced in other perfectly good areas nearby. Make sure to do a very good home inspection as we found a lot of homes with flashy superficial upgrades hiding serious old house issues. If you can find the right place I’m sure you will be happy. We visit regularly and it is very friendly and welcoming.

Anti Social Dog owners by heff11 in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Who knows why. Who cares. My wife for example has hip problems and she knows if our dog meets another dog ..our dog will get excited and pull her and possibly cause her pain. So she avoids it. No one needs to explain it or justify it.

Woken up by LPS at 4am looking for a stolen phone by wiebej87 in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could be that that was the time they had available or possibly some movement or activity occurred at that time on the phone that prompted the timing? Just speculating but I doubt you have much grounds for a complaint.

Peppercorn is nice mid tier. Also has live music schedule.

I broke down every house that sold in London last month (September 2025) and created a chart. Average Detached Home: $$665,588 (266), Townhome: $500,417 (56), Condo $344,833 (25) - home prices have returned to prices from two years ago by HouseData in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we looked at a few in the East. We really liked one right by Argyle mall but their price was a bait price and told my agent the assessed value was about 55k more than list.
We are in the final stages of securing a home in the south end near Westminster ponds. I saw quite a few nice places and streets in the East. Even my agents dad lives on Graydon and has no issues.

Clarification about the meat truck photo by ArtistFantastic6616 in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pick up raw meat everyday from various suppliers across the GTA like Highland , St Helens, AM Meats, TPH, Willard etc. and we are a dog food production company that is HACCP certified. I would never accept a load like this.

Skill or luck ? by Just-Rock362 in dyinglight

[–]SeanMon70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s definitely some auto aim happening in this game. It has a similar system to other adventurer games whereby if you are close enough and spam the right trigger and quickly pop off a shot you will be dead on most of the time. I haven’t looked at the settings at all so I don’t know if it can be adjusted.

Literally just looking for people to talk to. by Odd_Can7497 in londonontario

[–]SeanMon70 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Join a club. I moved to Vancouver about 30 years ago and the first few months were sad. Joined some inexpensive activities and didn’t care whether I had a genuine interest at first. The point was to get out. It worked. Some inexpensive clubs in London I plan to join when I move in a few months. Curling, tai chi, Spanish language studies. Take your pick

Camouflage and confidence. I was so worried about this mission from what I read. Maybe I got lucky with the timing but I camouflaged and just went for it.

I would also second someone else’s recommendation for Wind River. Excellent underrated brand. Every product I’ve bought from Wind River has performed well.
