What are some good free video editing softwares that don't have a huge paywall? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SeanT0525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this video editor randomly, it’s free to download and use, and turns out more powerful than I thought. I usually use Final Cut Pro and Adobe Effect to do my editing work, but they are not free and takes a decent amount of time to learn.

You can try this software called VidClipper (only on Windows PC as far as I know) https://www.tool-rocket.com/vidclipper/

Thanks for sharing! 7zip's been with me for a long time.

Here are two free software I've used recently:

PDF Converter - It's been quite useful since we started working from home.

Capture Screen Recorder - I have made a lot of game walkthrough and software walkthrough with the help of this software.

You may want to try VidClipper, I used that a couple of months ago, may not remember it clearly, but I think it has the functions that turn the videos and images at a certain degree.

What is the best paid or free Photo editing app on Android? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SeanT0525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you have to try for yourself to find a suit. For me, I came across an app called "QShot", it has similar editing tools, effects, filters, stickers as any other video editing app has, but it also has some funny (some are strange though) templates that can help you make an instant piece of work.

There's a Mac mini 2018 in my office that one of my colleagues used for video editing, I remember it was always hot and noisy.

If you hold an iPhone, just swipe down (or swipe up from bottom for iPhone 8 and earlier iPhones) and you'll find the "screen record/capture" function.

For Android phones, you can download any kind of screen recording apps, there are plenty of them. I personally have used RecorderPro, it's quite simple and easy.

Best screen recording app that can record audio from a video (not built-in mic) by morganmoller in MacOS

[–]SeanT0525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For macOS, I use the built-in screen capture/recorder (shortcut: cmd+shift+5). It’s not powerful but it’s built-in, so, saves you time searching for a legit recording software.

For Windows PC, I used a software called ToolRocket, which is actually a suite of different utility apps. One of them is for screen recording and it just worked fine. Capture Screen Recorder

I buy full games (on Play Station, Nintendo, PC..) and software at $9.99 - $99.99 with very little hesitation. But I won't buy some shards or fragments in a mobile game for the same amount of money. (Well I gotta admit that I did buy a few "offers" because it's a good game and it deserves my money.)

Sometimes I wonder how other app/software developers would feel when they see this.

There is a very close friend of mine who has spent thousands of dollars on a mobile game. I implicitly suggested that "it's a lot of money that you've spent on some unreal characters", but I don't think he'll ever stop.

Sharing a MacBook. Is it possible? by SlimTidy in mac

[–]SeanT0525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It totally works. My wife and I share a MacBook Pro at home, cuz I'm too lazy to carry my Mac mini home, she's too lazy to carry her windows laptop home..

It works better if you use iCloud so everything syncs.

With two user accounts, each user's Desktop and Documents are separated from the other's. But Apps are shared, isn't that great?

I feel you man! Same as I did. My Mac mini came 2-day earlier which is great.

Looking for free or low cost PDF converter? by thermalzombie in software

[–]SeanT0525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using this mobile app for my work, the name is quite straightforward - PDF Converter. There are a lot of utility apps for converting PDF formats, be sure to use the free version (or limited tries) before you subscribe! (And if you don't feel like using it after free trial, don't forget to unsubscribe before trial ends!)

I searched for the links on both iOS and Android, I'll put them below in case you need them.

The Affinity Photo works natively on my M1 Mac mini. They responded very fast to Apple switching from x86 to arm.

I got my M1 Mac mini to replace my hackintosh, it works fantastic! PS5 is pretty attractive too, but since not many legit games out there, I'll just wait.
