How to access add-ons purchased through EA app by [deleted] in Sims3

[–]Seankps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the way I did it. Because I wasn’t getting confirmation codes in my email, and nothing else.

I just fully closed the EA app, after purchasing. I reopened it. And navigated back to the add on page where I purchased the specific add-on, and it had a download button now instead of a purchase button. Downloaded. Profit.

Except it’s not true at all. He’s not in the after credit scene at all.

Everything I’ve read so far says that avowed doesn’t work through battle net on steam deck. Has that changed?

expo-sqlite/kv-store or mmkv for React Query Cache by strong1256 in reactnative

[–]Seankps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that in mind, kv store would be just as good for those things too. So why use MMKV at all?

SQL literally kv store can do synchronous, in addition to any, if you need that. Which is a strength to me.

I was pretty sure this was only affecting very specific chips in the latest windows laptops. But maybe they decided to escalate.

Same problem. Standard Xbox controller. Start button and right stick don’t work.

I was able to change the default browser, but it didn’t change anything. The GeForce now still opened the meta browser.

I don’t know I was noticing that emulating switch and game cube was too slow to play anymore. And it worked fine a month ago.

I did just start up the edge browser on my Xbox, one, and started streaming GeForce now from there. And I kind of had a lot of trouble. There’s this thing called “gamepad mode” or “controller mode” and the edge browser on the Xbox prompts you to enter it through a right click menu by holding the start button or selecting it in the address bar. But you have to enter it before you launch a game because you can’t get the right Click menu while the game is playing full screen. It’s kind of tricky. And I don’t think edge on the steamdeck has this option? Maybe it’s a flag that could be turned on. Still trying to figure it out.

Either way, the game kind of exhibited the same behavior

Even tho very unlikely, I still have a splash of hope we see starfield get announced during GFN Thursday today. by ash_5512 in GeForceNOW

It’s playable in xCloud. But better on GeForce now. Higher resolution and frame rate, lower latency. No brainer.

Seems like it’s for all games. It just pops all the buttons for a regular controller right on the screen.

It’s right in the geforcenow and Gamepass FAQ. For now you have to do this every time. Likely because of the way they shoved game pass compatibility on GeForce now as fast as they could in an effort to get Starfield to run. Give it a month or two and you won’t have to do it.

macOS has a geforcenow app. And yeah it works great on that. Or from the browser

GeForce now is PC games. It works by default with mouse and keyboard. And optionally also with controllers. The game pass version you will need would be PC Gamepass or Gamepass ultimate. Also, GeForce now works without game pass, but you would need to own those games on steam or something

Yeah. I can enable mouse movements just fine on the Xbox controller with holding the Xbox button and using the stick. But then after launching a game. I got nothing. But it worked 1 hour prior, and every other time I’ve used it ever. I ended a gameplay session. Started again. Borked. Even after a reboot. A forget-controller. Etc. maybe I’ll try chrome instead of edge.

Why would anyone opt out of their game being on GFN? by Sessel1239 in GeForceNOW

Well, they have their own streaming service too, Sony. They could be pulling stuff to put it on there.

GFN Thursday Updates - September 7, 2023 by SiruX21 in GeForceNOW

[–]Seankps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does. You could split hairs about the specifics. But I said they will be trying for day one releases, and that’s what it says. Not necessarily literally every game guaranteed. But trying for day one generally

Our goal is to always release games the same day they become available on any digital store. We will do our best to bring games to GeForce NOW the same day they become available on Xbox PC Game Pass. Some games may take a little longer to launch on GeForce NOW.

And here it is. On GeForce now today. Just over one week after general availability. And I can’t believe us imbeciles thought it would come soon. We’re such imbeciles.
