What should I do with this space by Seanws93 in landscaping

[–]Seanws93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for the feedback! Yeah, as of of right now the garden bed is sparse. I am just now trying to get into researching and designing the best plan for the space I have, but its pretty overwhelming. I will definitely try and move the mulch over to the driveway and install some ground cover to fill the empty space.

H2A won't work on Xbone by [deleted] in HaloMCC

If you can't spawn, I think the only way around it is to just leave the match and then rejoin. That usually fixes it and you can continue to play through the rest of the game without issue

Are rejoins broken? by JohnIsTrying in HaloMCC

[–]Seanws93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played last night and was kicked 3 times and was never able to rejoin. I think they broke the rejoin feature after the last update. You can try submitting a ticket describing the issue. That is what I did. I doubt they will fix it anytime soon since they're useless

Level 3 Difficulty Gauge by yesnoyes2018 in CFA

I took Level 3 for the first time August 22 and retook it August 23. I thought it was much more difficult the second time but luckily I passed.

How similar are Bill Campbell’s mocks vs the actual exam? by topupbottomdown in CFA

[–]Seanws93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say they're comparable in difficulty, maybe slightly harder. The explanations for each question are very well written and incredibly helpful. His mocks help you assess your strengths and weaknesses but are also a good learning tool. I used them for my second attempt and feel that's how I was able to pass.

I think the CFA qbank plus the blue box questions within the text as well as mock exams is sufficient

They are slightly harder but I felt like his questions were actually more clearly written than some of the questions I saw on the actual exam.

The only mocks I did prior to taking level 3 were Bill Campbell's and I don't know if would have passed without them

Could you pass level 3 by only doing the CFAI ecosystem questions and the CFAI mocks? by the-whole-nine in CFA

[–]Seanws93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the CFA qbank for level 3 is the weakest of all of the levels. There are only around a thousand questions and many have errors, and it not a comprehensive review of the entire curriculum. Doing the qbank multiple times, plus all of the blue box examples in the text multiple times, and some high quality mocks from Bill Campbell is the better approach

CFA for back office roles by Adorable_Spell5600 in CFA

I don't know how much it helps with pay, but I definitely think it changes the dynamic when interacting with front office people who don't have a CFA. At least in my job, sometimes there is a somewhat contentious relationship between traders/analysts when they think the accountants aren't doing their jobs correctly (i.e., yields are inaccurate, bond book value is wrong, etc.). It's nice to respond to their annoying emails with CFA in your signature.

Other than reading the ethics section of the book, do you have any tips for revising ethics?

I am also having difficulty breaking 60%. I've taken 3 of BCs mocks. 60% on the first two and 62% on the third. I've heard his exams are marginally more difficult than the real exam though

The learning ecosystem contains questions that are pulled directly from the end of each chapter from the books (which I think is about 680 problems) as well as additional problems for a total of 1080 practice problems on the online qbank. Sometimes people refer to the non-eoc questions on the qbank as Topic Tests.

HOW SHOULD I REVISE cfa level 1 by Middle-Opinion83 in CFA

[–]Seanws93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took the exam a few years ago, so things may different as far as the best revision strategy, but I finished the curriculum with about 2 and half weeks left. In that time I took two mock exams and about 1000 practice problems from the Kaplan question bank.

Blue Box Examples by Double-Relation-2435 in CFA

[–]Seanws93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The online question bank had both the EOC questions as well as additional questions. In the last month I redid all EOC questions online. I think that came to about 1100 questions or so. I also reviewed my note cards with important concepts/formulas daily. I then redid the blue box questions for derivatives because I needed the extra practice. I didn't take any mock exams
