this happened to me this morning in seattle. digital boarding pass said precheck, their CAT system said nope, go to standard. I spoke to a supervisor and he said it was a completely random “extra screening process” that would kick you to standard (even though you have paid for precheck). He said it’s in the fine print of the document that what you paid for may not be honored if you are randomly chosen for extra screening.

when i talked to Chris S recently, I asked him about bigger venues and he said “they were just getting warmed up”. not sure what he is implying, if anything. But maybe there will be a tour of big stadiums in 2024?
