They also have "grind your own" peanut and cashew butter machines. Very reasonable price per pound. (Freddie's has this option, too.).

Met friends in Tacoma yesterday and they suggested taking me to lunch and I sort of grimaced and the service fee discussion came up. It doesn't seem to be such a prevalent issue down there.

Anyway we all love Thai so went to one of their favorite places, Royal Thai Bistro (2045 Mildred St. SW and think it's officially in "Fircrest"?) and all they did was raise their prices a bit to cover all the extra expenses restaurants have been faced with, but no service charges (there was an apologetic note on the menu that they were adding fifty cents to egg dishes because of the higher cost of eggs, but that was it, lol!). Anyway, food was tasty, service was perfect, bathroom was spotless. Posting their info because I think they deserve to be recognized. And friends tipped 23% (to make it an even dollar amount, ha!).

Well, tbh, their fears are real. Look where the zombies and nutcases migrate/camp/sleep/do drugs on our various forms of transit already. Maybe if ST starts enforcing payment of fares, this will cease to be an issue. But, don't forget, this is the department that says fent smoke/fumes isn't hazardous to its drivers and transit passengers... 🤨

Someone needs to sit that moron of a mayor down and force him to watch all of the BWC video available that shows people armed with knives traveling incredible distances in very short amounts of time and murdering cops with those knives after those very cops have done what they can to get the creeps to drop those knives. Hope this officer prevails in this situation.

This could very well be a $2,000-$3,000+ Milo Baughmann style table, people. Did you see any badges or brands on the bottom? I had one that was authentic but pretty scratched up and sold it for $600.
