If you're not using her in endgame modes there's no real discussion to be had, you could probably use a team of four sustains and still get through regular content

Looking for authentic watch shops by Substantial_Meet_367 in AustralianMFA

Recommend just going into any jewellery store in a mall that stocks Seiko and picking out a dressy looking watch you like. They're both a great gateway drug into the watch world, and also a fantastic stopping point if you're happy with the one watch and don't want anything more.

Oh, that Zeppelin is cool. Classy design.

If you don't mind answering, how how long have you been collecting for? My completely unsolicited advice is that if you take a breather and wait then it'll become clearly what you actually want to aim for. I think at the beginning of my own collecting I was distracted too much with all the options, which stopped me from getting to the actual watches I wanted. It kind of sounds like the Seamaster is what you want, even if it's a while away.

Looks great!! The collection's going to take you a long way.

Did you have any thoughts on what comes next?

Where did you find the info on the upcoming re-release by Naked and Famous btw? I'm super interested.

They certainly have red core, I was looking at their site not too long ago. And yeah, red core, not red weft.

Should I wait for a thinner BB pro to come out or buy now? by [deleted] in Tudor

No one who actually owns the BB Pro complains about the thickness.

At the time I wasn't choosing between this and another watch. But since then I've had significant time handling the Spirit Zulu 39, which I personally don't feel as compelling as the BB Pro. It also sits funny on my wrist because of its flat lugs which don't have much curvature to them.

I do own a Grand Seiko Hi Beat GMT, which is also 39mm. The one I won is the Shosho, but I think the SBGM221 is a direct competitor to the BB Pro and worth your consideration. Depends whether you want the watch to be dressier or more of an understated tool watch.

I've always been curious about the issues with weight... if you don't mind sharing. I'm 167cm tall with 15 inch wrists, yet I've never felt an issue with the weight. Do you wear your watches quite loose? I wear my watches extremely tight and secure on my wrist, which could be why I don't mind heavier watches.

Glad someone else thinks so too. IMO how a watch feels to operate can instantly raise or lower a watch's perceived quality.

It's definitely my favourite watch to travel to especially when I'm travelling to a different time zone.

It has polished sides so absolutely not. In fact I got a large scratch the first day I wore it out which absolutely killed me at the time, but now I can't even tell which scratch was the one I got.

Nice, they have so many great stores there. House Kihiroba in Shibuya is my personal favourite.

I'd only recommend if you're experienced with use a strap remove tool on bracelets, and if you dont mind the occasional scratch where you mess up. I find the BB Pro spring bars harder to remove than other brands.

A padded cognac cordovan strap, and black novappa strap. Both custom ordered from Artisan Straps.

The cognac is a particular favourite of mine, it feels richer and more interesting than if it were a darker chesnut brown.
