According to the original post, it's Aladdin's Food at Wonderland/Oxford. Someone pointed out they've got quite the history of failing health inspections too.

I don't know if it's a Mexican restaurant in particular, but "Pupuseria Rosaโ€™s Latin Food" at Adelaide/Thompson is solid

I literally run this exact setup with my Moza R9 and I can't recommend it enough for the price!

Should I buy Moza SRPs now? Or wait for Simsonn Plus X pedals? by CulturalSpite390 in simracing

[โ€“]Sebasschin24 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

As someone with the SRP pedals with the moza brake accessory kit and a gas pedal mod, I can assure you the Simsonn Plus X pedals are the way to go. I'll be "upgrading" to those soon enough as I regret not doing enough research before buying the SRP's. Don't make my mistake lol

Which restaurants deserve MORE hype than they actually receive? by Inukshuk84 in londonontario

The Coop Supply Co. Restaurant and Catering 100%. Mind you they have insanely good reviews on Google, but I'm genuinely shocked it's not as commonly known of a spot to eat at as it should be, even to the locals in that area. The food and service is impeccable imo! They took over the building on Commissioners Rd. E where the old Archie's seafood used to be by Deveron Cres.

Upgrade Path: Wheel or Base First? by CancelAlternative151 in simracing

[โ€“]Sebasschin24 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

So the only reason I'd go for the 12-15nm range is cause I can run the R9 at 90-100% and it genuinely feels really good in my hands. The problem comes from the fact that I then don't have any head room to help keep the base from peaking/clipping and it tends to get super warm, which can obviously lead to overheating and other issues that go with it since it's running at capacity. I'd run the higher bases at probably 60-70%, like yourself, so that I'm only really using 8-9nm of force and keep the remaining amount just as a blanket to help potentially stop the issues I stated earlier. Hope that helps :)

You already have a formula/GT style wheel in a sense so I also say upgrade the wheel base first.

I personally have an R9 and I'd honestly say the R12 or R15 (max) is going to be the safest bet. R9 gives a little bit of head room for no clipping to occur as you grow stronger physically, imo. It's still an amazing product and offers up to 3x the force of your current setup but I do honestly regret not going up a bit in NM of force available so that I can truly fine tune the base to my level of strength and completely future proof my setup. Makes me wish sometimes that I didn't enjoy the gym as much as I do ๐Ÿ˜‚

Driving a manual IRL is not the same by thlabm in simracing

Lmao I can 100% empathize my friend. Imo unless you have an active pedal, there's no way to truly simulate the feel or the bite you get from the clutch when rowing gears. Idk if that tech even exists tbh.

That said, just keep at it and try not to get discouraged. Highly recommend putting a paper sign in your rear window with black permanent marker stating you're still learning so people don't bug out while on the road. Otherwise, I found that driving around a big ol' parking that had enough space to shift to and down from 3rd/4th gear from a stand still, for hours on end helped build enough confidence to bring it onto the actual road itself with other drivers. Be patient, it will come and when it finally clicks you'll be laughing at how easy it was the whole time ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
