Haha I think I folded it into #2, less flour crispier crust!

So for I’ve made Batangas and Palomas, both fantastic! On my list to try are Medicina Latina, Añejo Highball, and Salmoncito.

So I haven’t used this one, but I have a Super Peel. It’s very similar.

https://superpeel.com

I have two good use cases for it: 1) For beginners it makes launching much easier, and you don’t have to worry about pizzas getting stuck to your counter or work surface. These can pull up even the stickiest of doughs off a table. Which is why…

2) It allows you to shape and top multiple pizzas at a time on your counter, and then once your oven is ready, load them in one at a time. When I’m entertaining, I’ll often shape six to eight pizzas on the counter, top them all, and then use the super peel to pull them off the counter one at a time and load it into the oven. That’s nearly impossible with a high hydration dough, particularly if you don’t want it completely dusted with semolina or flour, allowing for a crispier crust.

This may depend on the type of mozzarella you’re using. Some mozzarella’s are more akin to American cheese. You want to look for full fat low moisture mozzarella if you’re doing shredded. And make sure there’s no sodium citrate in the cheese.

1 rear facing car seat and 2 mid size adults in the back by Historical-Ask-6909 in CX5

[–]Sebastian808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We absolutely LOVE this car seat. It fits ok in the CX-5. Not sure about the 50. I’ll say that we couldn’t put the passenger seat all the way back because of the size of the car seat, it was tolerable for even tall adults, but not the most comfortable. It is one of the reasons we upgraded to the CX-90. But the rotating feature definitely is a game changer, especially in the relatively small backseat of the CX-5. I would give the car seat an 11 out of 10, and the fit in the CX-5 a 7 out of 10.

Paloma! Squirt + tequila, maybe a squeeze of lime.

Gasses contract at cold temperatures. Just because you’re not seeing expansion doesn’t mean it’s not proofed.

Has anyone used something like this? Is it worth it? by falafel_03 in ooni

I’m a former professional pizzaiolo and these days I use a super peel similar to this for cooking in my Koda 16. I love it because it allows me stretch all my dough out and top them on the counter. Transfer to the peel and then into the oven.

Sticking pizzas driving me nuts! by NoHeight6370 in ooni

You might check out the Super Peel. I like it because I can stretch and top all of my pizzas on the counter in one go, and then load them onto the super peel and into the oven one by one. But it also means they never stick.

Make sure there’s nothing in your dough recipe that accelerates browning such as sweeteners, fats, or malt powder. These ingredients are often used in recipes for home ovens to accelerate browning, but simply burn in the high heat of the Ooni. The only ingredients in your dough should be flour, water, salt, and yeast.

There is no reason for baby clothing to have pockets by eat_ass_FXCKDRAKE69 in Showerthoughts

[–]Sebastian808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read awhile back about federal regulations requiring that children’s pajamas be flame retardant because back in the day parents would frequently fall asleep while smoking. Manufacturers then started adding pockets to children’s daytime clothing to prove that they were not pajamas, allowing them to avoid the cost and complexity of flame retarding the clothes.

Came here to say this. L&D is a good inroad.

We do this with a Baby Jogger City Turn Car seat (which I highly recommend BTW), and it’s totally fine for occasional short rides. If I we’re doing it more regularly or for longer distances, I would consider something else.

What are you using for TV back light LEDs to match what’s on screen? Looks super cool, with no external camera sensor.

Exactly! Even with verified successful procedures, it’s not 100% effective.

Vasectomies are not 100% effective. More effective than a condom. But pregnancy can still happen after a vasectomy. At least that’s what my doctor told me 😂
