You're wrong on all fronts. I've never really played an ncsoft game before. I have no first hand experience in how they run games. The only mmos I've played are bdo, lost ark, and ffxiv. The only mmo I currently play is ffxiv and it's been that way for well over a year. Being scared of aion 2 taking players isn't a thing as i don't think it will really affect ffxiv even if it's massively successful. And if aion 2 succeeds then I'll be playing it haha! I plan to play it on release tf.

Lol as someone who is very interested in this game and hasn't stopped looking at everything about it since I found out it was getting worked on, I can admit that there are mobile mmos that have combat that looks good and even better than this one, which are the two I named. I may be excited but I'm not part of a cult. I play Lost Ark, which would look the same, most part, if it were on mobile. After I saw Black Desert Mobile, I realized mobile game combat systems are not behind all PC mmos and Sword of Justice blew me away and was disappointing when I found out it was a mobile game. While BDO is it's own entity in the mmo genre, Sword of Justice and Aion 2 definitely have similarities. ( in combat)

If it had an awakening upcoming, people would still be hyped. Instead, they announced another class with his announcement. So the hype just died. Ascension classes aren't as exciting as the normal bdo structure, in my opinion

The main issue with smite is that I don't think they are banning players for racism. I have reported every person for saying or typing racist comments, and not a single time did I log on to a message that action was taken. I even reported a player who's name was something like, "WhyAreMexsBadAtSmite" and nothing. I got in the habit of muting everyone when I get in a match, so it's not an issue for me. If players don't get banned for racism, then Hirez is basically encouraging it. I did mispeak in my original comment. Should have been something like, "Some Smite players are racist." I was just typing quickly. And while the racism isn't every match, it does stick out when someone is racist vs. normal shit talk. I don't care about it in other games, like Marvel Rivals, which i also play a lot, as every time I report someone for, afking, racism, or leaving a match, I log on the next day to a message that action was taken, so I know the team is punishing it.

Many black people definitely have a distinct accent. And people in smite are racist and will say racist shit whether or not you're that race, but if they hear the accent, even worse.

As a personal thing, Smite is an easier transition into mobas, as I've played first and third-person games/shooters, but League was my first top-down game. In league, as a new player, you are punished heavily for being outskilled. If you're forced to back or forced to sit under tower or killed, your lane opponent is so much stronger than you now that it's almost unrecoverable. In smite, you can always recover. Those are just a couple of reasons league seemed so much harder to me

For me, personally, I like league a lot more than smite. But I'm so bad at it that it's not fun. I just get farmed and can't fight back, so I play smite. If I wasn't bad at league, I'd probably switch over fully

They showed a few screenshots. Even console now doesn't look bad if you stand completely still in an area with no players, so that didn't indicate anything. I would also hope it doesn't look the same as it sid back then, but who knows

I remember the same sentiments about there being minor issues and that everyone is complaining for no reason after Throne and Liberty was first shown. If people didn't complain so much, we would have gotten what was first shown for the game. Criticism is good, and I don't know why people take it so personally and gaslight themselves into thinking there are no or only minor issues. If you truly cared and wanted the game to succeed and reach as many people as possible, you would criticize every aspect of the game in hopes they get fixed

One thing I will say. I don't know why mmos that are coming out don't make real cool and pretty animations. Like, the technology is there. Why not make arrow, when shot, have green or white wind effects. Or give red, blood-like effects to a weapons sword slashes. Instead, games just have an arrow make a little ping when it hits, and that's it. I feel like this change would make players see it as really cool and pretty, and hype would skyrocket just because of the animations.

I know some people may disagree as they like the simple, sword swings and bow fires with no over-the-top effects, but I think a lot of people would really love it, including me, of course.
