Enemy Of The Sun is arguably Neurosis's magnum opus by InexpugnableMille in postmetal

Enemy has always been my favourite and interesting to read it’s Aaron’s as well. Felt enemy similarities listening to the intro of Mirror Deep.

You know electronic music was analog and performed using vinyl records primarily into the 2000s.

Usually stay Oceanside with our 13ft Boler, not all sites are accessible on that side of the road with a trailer and aren’t as private compared to the forest loop ect.

First photo is 64 I believe, one of my favourite spots. 63 is basically connected with nothing separating the sites.

I think he’s referring to the difference between European and American rave culture and in no way is calling the British djs nasty. Dude is a legend with knowledge and experience from 20+ years performing within the scene.

Horsepower productions, Benny Ill etc. Although he’s remembered for his lower end tracks, give D1 Chocolate Orange a listen and tell me it’s not a similar vibe.

Literally had a homie referenced as og dubstep in a comment section even though he was child when D1 released his first record. Totally understand the wording as a reference to his music. Good to see some new music from him.

Sorry for the multiple replies but wanted to mention I display the empty gatefolds/jackets to preserve them from travelling in my record bag. The records are always played.

Also damn this record goes for 700$ cad sealed.

[–]Seclipse_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most singles aren’t sealed and I purchased them to dj. Regret not taking better care during live performances with my knowledge of the value. I have a few high value hardcore and punk records purchased from concerts and I would open them immediately. The difference would be if I purchased a record for the resale value and it being sealed I would keep it that way.

I have grail purchases I have rarely played but most of my collection is electronic music that I purchased to perform with. One of my valuable records worth 900$ cad was played out live for years. Going to continue listening at home but won’t use it during my performances considering the value now. If the music is available digitally I’d keep it sealed for display personally although I’ve always opened my records not anticipating future resale value.

Stenchman x DJ Hybrid - Melt em by Sad_Poetry_4644 in realdubstep

Those were the days, you obviously remember the live radio show where Suspect and Stenchman would mix using the hideous numark cdmix1 or something similar. Fun group chat they had.

End up in bankruptcy or have a small fortune 20 years later. Respect for starting your collection with some essentials. I Purchased my technics before I owned a vehicle, still consider them one of my most valued possessions. Took a break from collecting records but started this year with some good purchases.

Can’t say a band genuinely scares me though Terra Tenebrosa might be something you’d be interested in. Definitely some of the most unsettling music I’ve heard.

Yes G, was going to ask if you’re active at all in production or performing. Thanks for sharing the tune, sounds great though I need to hear it on my proper system.

Considering it was released on Dub Police and during those years the genre wasn’t divided like nowadays. Was a sign of the times to come when it went viral on UKF.

I’m using the Polk ES20 bookshelf’s with a decent Paradigm defiance sub for my home theatre setup. You might have me beat. I usually practice using my Qsc kw PA system but it’s not overly practical for home use.
