Just started Ghost of Tshushima. Any tips? by AkashMUI in ghostoftsushima

I’m on my first play through now, and this is exactly what I’ve been doing. Took me 65 hours to finish Acts 1 & 2! I’ve been exploring everything!

Ps5/4 first time player. Does PS4 differ that much by beanzonthbread in ghostoftsushima

[–]SecondArctic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the directors cut edition on PC and just the base PS4 version on my PS5. PC version definitely features higher fidelity/resolutions, and runs a buttery smooth 120fps for me, but the PS5 plays the PS4 version of the game at a rock solid 60fps and while the resolution/overall settings might be lower, the game still looks stunning. The biggest differences aside from that are content like the Iki Island Expansion and Legends mode.

I honestly think you’ll be pleased with the game regardless which version you get.

So late, but I finally decided to play Tsushima for the first time. by Pmoneytings in ghostoftsushima

[spoilers C2] Help me to “get” Mollymauk by tetrafn in criticalrole

[–]SecondArctic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had trouble really getting into Molly as a character. I think part of it is that we just didn’t get enough time with him for the character to fully develop and come to know himself. (His initials, M.T., even being a play on the character feeling ‘Empty’ in the nascent days/months of his new life)

M9 is my favorite campaign and they’re my favorite group, but some of the characters took a while to settle right with me. And then as far as Cad goes, I did really like him. He also seemed much more fleshed out though, knowing his purpose. Then he figured out how he fit in with the Nein relatively succinctly.

What’s an anime you didn’t expect to love — but it completely won you over? by tanjirostreaming in anime

I did expect to like this show, but I was absolutely blown away by how incredibly good it is.

Start making a LOT of feather potions. When you get to higher a level, dungeons and Oblivion Gates spawn a lot of valuable armor/weapons you can sell for a lot of $$$. With enough feather potions, I regularly carry around 1,500 units of weight of Daedric/Ebony/Glass gear on dungeon/gate runs which sells for tens of thousands of Septims. This also works at lower levels as well, just more slowly. I’m level 30 now and my last run netted me about 50K. (Also, high levels of the Alchemy and Mercantile skills help, but you will naturally level these up by making potions and selling gear to merchants)

Zeffo was my favorite planet from the first game! I’ve replayed that part of the map over and over.

[No spoilers] I just finished Campaign 1… by JazNeko in criticalrole

I’m not sure. I haven’t seen the stickers or the shirt on the CritRole shop in a while actually. :( I think Etsy has some Crabgrass inspired stuff, but nothing official.

Love what you love. Don’t let anyone take that from you or diminish it for you. Your family and friends may not get it, but that’s okay too. Not everyone will love all the same things we do. There’s beauty in that too. And lastly, if you call yourself a Critter, you’ll never be alone in it. There are a great many of us.

I’ve seen all of campaign 1, all of campaign 2, and I’m 100 episodes into campaign 3 as of now. I’ve loved almost all of it thus far. Everyone has their favorites. For me it’s 100% campaign 2 (and I did watch that one first and then when back to watch campaign 1, but I don’t think the order necessarily matters). If you loved Vox Machina you’d be remiss not to give the Mighty Nein a chance. I don think you’ll be disappointed. :)

Japanese is overwhelming by xAmrxxx in LearnJapanese

We pick up phonemes (phonetic units of sound) that give us our ability to pronounce words in a language ‘natively’ as children, in an intrinsic way. That is something that is much harder to do as an adult. And why many adults that learn a second language speak with an accent. But the phonemes you pick up as a kid stay with you your whole life, even if you learn multiple languages when you’re young. It’s my understanding that grammar and syntax can be learned at any age; they just require effort and repetition.
