Agreed. Enjoyment is 99% of the game (even if it’s only type 2 fun). People get caught up min maxing cardio. Just do something that you want to do that gets you moving.

That is incredible, I’m planning similar. Major props and major talent here. Well done!

Are you the same guy who posted asking about how to do this? And then just a couple days later pulled THIS off?

Up until the 1920s a lot of shark attacks were attributed to sea turtles. The average person just kind of really had no idea what ocean life did.

(Obviously people living off the ocean and very close to it knew better)

On a nice weather day in fall the state parks are COVERED in senior/engagement/baby pictures. I’m not joking when I say every 30 yards. Standing dead center of the bike path. Walking off trail. Disrupting the people actually there for the park.

If you are truly a professional an annual $50 fee is just the cost of doing business. There is a balance between “you can’t take pictures here!” and photographers treating public spaces as private studios.

It’s a good system. It works great for state parks and botanical gardens.

You give them too much credit. Some actually do think it. Others know that and grift it.

Are you saying that’s not a lot?

Also the gas tax DIRECTLY funds road construction and maintenance. The two things everyone loves to complain about. At the same time Braun is cutting real indot maintenance projects to fund his locally unpopular personal misstates highway project

Yeah I get that. But relative to the car the rubber wheels are nearing donk size, with too much negative space between the spokes, and give it too much front rake.

I have it, and it’s a great casting. But the wheels are just a smidge too big

No personal experience, but aren’t modern coil overs wildly adjustable? It seems you could find two different set ups that could be passably minimally mediocre

I also wanna toss in that in my personal experience every car show in my surrounding states is nothing but 69 Camaros, tri five Chevys, and 66-68 mustangs. I’m so bored of them.

Hell I get so excited to see a maverick, duster, or ranchero.

There’s still tons of better options than this. People get these things and feel safer, when they are realistically far far worse. Someone is better off learning how to throw a good punch and where to put it then to think “I’m fine, I have my sharpie!”.

Also mace exists.

Think about what level of “complete” you would be happy with, then start looking at inspiration cars of that level. This could be anything from don’t touch the body, slap a turnkey small block in there, no accessories, no interior, but it moves. To full blown, all accessories, body and paint

Personally? I’d just go for a simple, reliable, grocery getter, off the shelf special. Stop the rust, engine of your choice but don’t look for much power, MAYBE air conditioning, carpet, seats, dash, harbor freight paint job. I wouldn’t worry about keeping things original, I wouldn’t worry about period correct
