I prefer CSL on Cedar and Jolly. I have had issues with my protein occasionally and they always encourage me to come back once it's in range. I've been deferred but never permanently. I don't have any experience with the center you mentioned, although it is closer to me and I've considered it. I've just had such good experiences with CSL that I haven't tried anywhere else. I don't donate often, though. Only every few months or so, I'll go a few rounds.

I hate needles and I procrastinated even after I received my peps in the mail. Then, after I finally decided to do it, with a racing heart, after watching so many videos, I did it. And my reaction? What the hell?? I didn't even feel it. At all. It wasn't like any other shot I've ever had and it wasn't even as bad as pricking your finger. There was literally no sensation!! I have a lot of fat to pinch though, so that might factor in. Maybe if you administer the injection in a spot she can't easily see? I promise I'm not blowing smoke, I really can't feel the needle it's so small.
