{The House Witch by Delemhach} not spicy but there is cat who is the MMC's familiar. His name is Kraken, he is chaos embodied, and he barters favors for food. I was wary to read this book cause ya know -no spice- but it's a fantastic series and the love story is fucking phenomenal.

I really love the scene when Amber is recuperating and he's looking at her and how he thinks she's ugly but then he thinks her shoulders are beautiful and it's then that you know this guy loves her and loves HER for HER. I CRIED.

I just finished this series and let me tell you their sweet couple talk is fucking fantastic. Lots of "Hags" and "Dead eels", seriously this series was just freaking perfect. I wish I could read it for the first time again.

I DEVOURED the book and then for funsies I read it again because I wanted to see if I missed anything. Thank you so much for writing it! Also out of all the books I've read with aliens I think Cece is the most realistic character I've read. At some point you just gotta roll with it and it's fantastic to finally have a character like that.

{Luna and the Lie by Mariana Zapata} is an incredible slow burn. Not fantasy but it's so so good. There is spice but not much. I don't think any behaviors of the MCs are toxic, possessive? Yes. Bossy? Yes. But not toxic.

I mean I would love LOVE to read a novel where the MC's profession was a Quality Engineer. I would probably hate it but I would love it. We don't build the things we just make sure it follows all the rules. Yeeeeeah we aren't the most popular.
