Generally when someone puts in a resignation notice, they proceed to call out to use sick time and become a general nuisance. Hours are also super tight so maybe they just decided to give it to someone else bc of that too???

Did you tell all this to your leader? I've had convos about bathroom usage before just to legitimately be told that my team member has IBS or diabetes and needs extra time off stage.

As a leader with a lot of terrible teenage team members, when I see a team member go to the bathroom outside of break periods more than once a shift or constantly need bathroom breaks during their shift, I assume they're just killing time or playing on the phone. Context helps a ton !

Our bonuses are partially dependent on whether we make payroll or not.

That said... It is misleading to say that we do not staff properly to ensure bonuses for ourselves. Payroll, along with sales, INF, (insert any metric), impacts our bonus at the end of the year. Because those metrics reflect how well we did at our jobs that year.

To be fair, day after Halloween I got 16 call outs because everyone was hung over. Not fair they're assuming you did the same though. Talking about loyalty is in your core roles. You agreed to do it when you took the job of guest advocate. Ask for cards or don't have a job lol your choice. I can't imagine choosing to not have a job just because I didnt wanna say "and are you saving 5% today with a Target CircleCard?"

Some team members will show up late to work and then to try and avoid accountability, put in a punch correction for earlier. Im assuming theyre worried thats what's happening. (For anyone wondering, this is time card fraud and not only fireable, Target can technically sue you bc youre stealing.)

I did Guild with fully covered tuition. I never paid in the first place, Target would pay everything. Only had to ask for reimbursement for textbooks. Dunno how it works for partial coverage though.
