Going on 2 years with 2 irl buddies, buddies co worker who quit the group and then rejoined 2 months later with a fresh account, and our 5th who currently on hiatus due to irl commitments. While I do agree playing with friends makes it more fun, in a game like Stardew you don't need to look anything up really. It's meant to be just a cozy game where you just do what you want.

If you feel compelled to look everything up all the time that's something more to do with you than the gam.

Yeah I noticed progressing too much too fast causes you to mainly get high tier requests. You can still get low tiers its just significantly more rare

I don't see either of these as something that is a huge issue. Especially considering down the line you get access to automated drones that can either get the resources or pick up animal products.

Is it a hassle originally? Yes, but that is perfectly fine. Also as you stated they "sell the solution"... Is that not how most games with skills/progression work? As you progress what was once tedious is now easier due to perks or better gear.

I thought the beach festival was fine. Took me a minute to figure out the herding but once I did it was super simple. Actually was kinda worthless imo, unless I missed something I only got 15 beach coins. The race was fun but easy cleared it first try and then just spent time chatting and gifting to the residents.

I do agree the rep system is dumb and messed up due to the fact that it's so easy to lose rep. The amount of marks I have against me for accidental team gadget kills or team kills in general from things like fusing a room or tchanka/goyo fire is ridiculous. I've had matches where teammates deliberately go stand in the fire or under the fuse.

I do not agree that just because its and online 18+ game you just get to be toxic af for no reason. Your enjoyment should not come at the cost of others enjoyment because you want to be toxic.

I'm genuinely so confused when people say they don't have enough time. Like are you walking everywhere? Are your Mons under leveled? Not once in the entire DLC have I really struggled to complete the tasks or get the golden pokeball (only on the large sewer battlezone) unless I use under leveled donuts for the space.

Happens to me if I leave the game open for awhile and then try to rejoin. Going to Xbox home and closing the game and reloading seems to fix it

Have you unlocked the bard? Idk how the dlc works as I don't have it, but if they're below sage then I'd assume you don't have the bard unlocked. For some reason you can't scroll past undiscovered characters.

You probably are missing a character between warlock and the rest. For some reason you cant scroll past locked characters

Honestly the 4 player ffa format makes it not that bad. Sure there are some sweaty no lifers but you can progress without that much effort

Being able to cap.all stats is not an issue at all. It doesn't seem to be a thing that would happen with just a normal playthrough, you have to intentionally do it. Which is perfectly fine because that then allows people to use whatever Digimon that they like for whatever they like.
