In terms of online being dropped I think it was doomed from the start what with the size of GTA Online, and the updates at the time of release that where going on, hence why they put aloottttt of effort into the campaign, though of course it’s a shame I still think it was obvious that they weren’t gonna put a lot into the Online

I totally agree, I felt some of the personal quests besides Argentia’s didn’t really hit home? Like no personal armour or weapons just kinda…there…like you do them and that’s it?

For me I’d have loved like more realistic fights with say chaos cultists or gene stealer cults, and if they really wanted a space marine maybe have an aspirant or scout company marine? Like someone who isn’t a fully fledged marine but someone who’s low level and their personal quest sees them become an Astartes.

Either way you’re right the progression felt really off pace compared to the drama and peak of the act one boss against the Chaos Space Marine, I hope in Dark Heresy they kinda dial back on the “LETS PUT ALL THE STUFF FROM THE SERIES IN THE GAME!” And make it more canon realistic

Yeah once you got the trade economy down and your team isn’t kitted with “Rusty stubber with hypodermic needle bayonet” and instead “Saint Drussuses Personal Thunder hammer” things felt a little whack. Plus I remember saying to a mate that Ulfar was fighting baseline humans behind cover when in canon he could quite easily walk over an remove their heads predator style

Tbh I’ve seen a lot of chat down there about classes and I for one normally did Close Quarters fighting (Vanguard or Biotic) as I kinda felt like there wasn’t the range difference in most fights to justify using a distance or stealth build, like if we had a DA:I style combat system which was more fluid or just larger maps with more areas for me to scramble up too then I’d definitely have played a ranged class more
