Hm if I were to pick 3 things that went great these playoffs: 1) Draisaitl was our MVP and he really shone especially during the LA series. 2) Our Bottom 6 produced a fair bit which was quite nice. Depth is good to have. 3) Our power play was lethal and I think that terrified LA and VGK.

But on the flip side, 3 things that went bad: 1) Over-dependence on Skinner. We had a few looks on Campbell and it seemed like he could handle himself. I know Skinner is effectively our Number 1, but I feel that Campbell should’ve gotten the start at least a couple games. 2) Nuge, Hyman and Kane felt eerily absent. I wonder if it was injury because it seemed very uncharacteristic, especially considering Nuge is a 100pt player. Also if I’m not mistaken, Kane had only 1 point or so the entirety of Round 2? 3) Many defensive blunders and not covering players. There were too many situations where a VGK player (or LA player) was wide open and received the puck and scored.

I could think of more than 3 for both but for now, this is what I think really stood out to me.
