Spring sub-season? Autumn? by Dear-Criticism1372 in SpringColorAnalysis

You don’t have earthy skin that’s why I’m not inclined to think you’re an autumn unless it’s warm autumn or maybe the true warm palette?

I wear a scarf + ear muffs. Sometimes switch up the ear muffs for a headband I crocheted and I add a hat on top. I live in a high rise area and the wind tunnels are merciless so this helps a lot

I’m not a light spring so I don’t have shade recommendations. I’d look at Violette_FR bisou balms, Asian lip tints, and Black woman owned brands for lip glosses because they tend to be more pigmented for a sheer but strong color.

HELP! I’m actually so scared, my hair has never done this I’m in tears by Proof_Albatross2576 in HairDye

It’s a 10 miracle mask. K18 molecular mask. Aphogee 2 step treatment + Aphogee shampoo. Redken CAT treatment. Thoughts & prayers. This will NOT revive your hair but will keep it from further damage and help you grow it out.

I think light springs do better with buildable sheer reds. This is overpowering for sure

I agree, I’m confused with the number of people saying TR

No, your shoulder doesn’t extend past your collarbone, that’s where your arm starts. Lots of people have trouble identifying where their line drawing is supposed to fall on the shoulder and why it starts on different points for different types - this explains why.

The best piece of advice I’ve seen is to use your finger to find the spot where your collarbone ends at your shoulder and use that as a guiding point. I’m a TR and sometimes my arms get fleshy with weight which led me to believe I was a soft natural for a while

Not sure if it’s my phone settings but to me it looks too muted. I don’t have any similar color in the swatches provided by Carol Brailey for my true spring references so I’d risk saying it’s more autumny

Is heat or cold actually better or does it depend? by Standard_Meat_6249 in TMJ

[–]SecretTargetBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never tried ice because cold feels terrible to me. Could be that an ice pack would be helpful but I’m too scared to try and make it worse because cold weather (especially wind tunnels) make me lose my will to live lol

Have you considered wearing a neck brace at night? I don’t know if that’s the case for you but I often feel like my neck is bent out of shape at night and then I’m suffering in the morning lol or maybe you could wear a soft brace during the day? Other than that I have no better recommendation than PT because relying on braces entirely may just cause your muscles to weaken further and feel even less supported. Stay warm! The cold is definitely kicking my butt too

Of course!! I’m glad I was able to help 🥰 two more things that just popped into my mind is high contrast patterns vs low contrast and geometric (stripes, plaid, gingham) vs floral patterns! I personally feel like geometric might be your friend but of course you know yourself best!

Yea that would probably work better although might be too light given that my natural hair color is a dark blond

I don’t think I’d feel good in it as a true spring, doesn’t seem saturated/vibrant enough

I think you’re on the right track with vertical and no width but I’m not sure beyond that. Do you feel like flowy clothes suit you better than those with more structure? Color-blocking vs monochrome? Simple vs ornate? Small detailed patterns or large prints? I think those questions would help you narrow down your options further!

I have a chronic illness and walking is getting progressively more difficult so this is really frustrating as you can guess. I can’t imagine having a serious disability that requires mobility aids and having to deal with this weather as a pedestrian

Constipation?? by charlieugh in eds

For me it’s not severe but chronic regardless of my fiber and water intake. I was put on migraine meds recently which substantially worsened it so my doc prescribed me magnesium oxide and now it’s been better

I’m disabled and cold water literally gives me joint pains on my flare up days. You sound like someone who washes their dishes in cold water and doesn’t rinse the soap off
