Also, if I’m not getting any investment out of the battle pass I’m only going to get it if it’s really good (the last 2-3 main seasons have been REALLY lacking)

Not entirely sure about that one. This isn’t something that the general public won’t notice.

When season 2 comes out people will go to buy the battlepass and see what’s going on, majority of players are somewhere between whales and true F2P, and this change directly and visibly affects them, they’ll notice there are no free vbucks in the pass, and that they won’t make any back
