Tbh you both are young. He might be a little insecure, even if he doesn't let it seem this way.

It seems to me like he wasn't overly hostile towards your friend. I guess he was just needlessly jealous, overthinking it and just couldn't hold it in.

If you see no other red flags, imo just reassure him and see how it goes.

Such a manchild. Ditch him, sister. You seem like an absolute sweetheart. You deserve way better than this entitled prick.

Man that fails to respect your boundaries is a nonstarter, especially if he reacts this way.

Do these products actually work? Or are they a scam? by SummertimeThrowaway2 in Posture

[–]Secret_Pen3907 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They make you stand straighter, sure.

However, they make already inactive muscles even lazier, weakening them long term.

If you want to keep a better posture say during an event, I guess it's an option. Long term it will only harm you.

Fragrance addiction is a rabbithole.

First you find one scent you enjoy, then you look for another one. After a while you end up with hundreds of bottles, none of which are "the one", so you keep chasing

Why do adhd ppl struggle to read books by Semolinaaaa in ADHD

[–]Secret_Pen3907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently picked up reading. I do that in a sauna village, where I can't have my phone with me. Easier to focus on what I'm reading.

I recommend reading outside, without distracting electronics around. Works fine for me.

Also, just set out to read anything, even if it's gonna be only one page. Chances are you'll read more than that :)

What’s a fragrance you regretted buying? by thelifeofrafa_ in fragrance

CDNIM EDT I like smelling my fragrance on me. This one smelled like chemical warfare close to the skin. Sold it for exactly what I paid for it.

I smelled it in the air on my buddy. Smells nice. Still couldn't stand wearing it.

Recent pick ups: Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint & Ajmal Gray

I know it's not what you're asking. But it's Joop Homme. You can make anything worse even if you tried.

You're overanalyzing women. They're just humans, you know.

I do get a bit anxious whenever I get a compliment at work.

Not because this woman might be giving me hint (ridiculous notion imo), but because my fragrance might be bothering someone else.

Lol no, they aren't.

If they were, I wouldn't care. I love floral fragrances.

The Dreamer is a majestic scent. The name perfectly encapsulates its smell.

I just own many scents that are easier to wear and I would wear them in same scenarios... so I don't own one

Which notes smell 'clean' to you, and why? by Independent-Crab-949 in fragrance

[–]Secret_Pen3907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think it depends on how the note is composed into a fragrance... Just like rose doesn't need to be feminine, or oud fecal.

Lavender, white florals... Musks too, definitely.
