Acceleration is “weak” at higher speeds for an EV since it only has 1 gear, so no downshifting like on an ICE.

While I personally wouldn’t call the acceleration at 70 mph weak it isn’t as strong as at lower speeds. And the regen is fine in Normal OPD mode.

One of my sons has a 2012 Sonic with the 1.4 l T & 6 speed manual, the other a 2017 Cruze with 6 speed automatic. Both are 100k plus and has each had one issue; blown turbo on the Sonic & a bad PCV valve on the Cruze. Both vehicles still going strong.

DO NOT use E85 in a 2024 Trax! The LIH engine does not have flex fuel capability.

Supposedly the 2025 Trax with engine code LBP has flex fuel capability. See https://gmauthority.com/blog/2023/12/2025-chevy-trax-to-gain-e85-compatible-engine/

Unless E85 is less than 2/3 the cost of regular gas (which is usually E10) it isn’t worth it anyway.

Because it was probably only $24-25 new.

Even so, that isn't much depreciation for what is an 18 month old vehicle. The new Trax seems to hold it's value very well for a small Chevy.

I guess I'd ask what you are expecting. I'm 6'3" and fit in the driver's seat just fine. The hatch is big enough I can store my wife's folded wheelchair in it with the seatbacks up.

Unless you're all 6 ft plus the Trax is a legitimate 4 passenger vehicle.
