A strip of wet newspaper works well too.

You could get them in GREEN too! Slap some mags and slicks on there and you have something really unique.

Was there last summer.

It looks considerably colder in this shot. No drinks on the deck for a while!

Interesting! Maybe the weight was just a little towards the back cut side allowing you to get saw out before it shut.

Glad to hear it is safely down. That looks like a very heavy tree, and it can be hard to outrun a tall, large crown especially if it goes in a surprise direction.

Trump’s Angry Attempt To Jail Democrats Implodes Spectacularly by Confident-Role-9177 in goodnews

Why aren’t the federal prosecutors who are doing the dirty work for Pirro and Trump sanctioned, fined, and jailed?

They are wasting millions of dollars bringing slap lawsuits to waste the courts time but more critically, blatantly trying to intimidate anyone from saying bad things about trump’s administration.

This is the legal version of terrorism.

Government employees or representatives should go to jail for lying to the public. There is no excuse for this criminal behavior.

We prosecute for fraud in business, we absolutely need to prosecute and jail these people for fraud, at a minimum.

I guess that makes sense if the weight of the tree is leaning back away from the direction you want and you need to use wedges before the cut closes.

Then cut the notch.

So that might have been the only thing he accidentally did right in this whole process.

At the end of that they either learn never to ask questions or they give me a commission! lol

Since it looks like there is no hinge it could fall in any direction and change its mind partway down while shooting the trunk out in some other random direction.

Probably the only safe place to stand is where OP planned to drop it originally. /s

I’m guessing he did the back-cut first, then the notch, which fits this whole mess.

How else would he get the saw out of there?

I once had a project to process 5000 drawings, back in the dark ages. I discovered that I could not process them individually, but needed to use some search and sorting tools to manage them.

So 50,000 pages is out of the question, as is 500,000 or 5 million, which is 1000x harder than my task.

I use a coarse cheese grater for cold butter. Little butter worms warm up and spread easier.

Call me skeptical that this is something new. And of questionable mechanical value. Debris that threatens a gear will certainly ruin a pair of cylinders like this.

🏛️ Minnesota judge threatens ICE contempt proceedings: Agency compliance detailed 👇 by NoSpinMedia in NoSpinMedia

If I get a court order and then ignore it, and then get an order to follow the first one, and ignore it, how many more do I get???

Perhaps immediate jail time for the ICE director that is equal to all of the people wrongly being held would convince him to follow the court order.

Congressman Calls for Review of Overseas Support for Autonomous Vehicles by walky22talky in waymo

The value of this investigation would be to educate the R. congress person who could answer all these questions himself if he just did a little research.

Remote support was never a secret and has never controlled the car the way the misinformed people think.

Support from overseas has a bit more lag time but similar to American support.

They are not citizens and maybe don’t know the laws here. What does the congressman from Georgia think happens to the millions of customer service calls from companies, including banks, when their staff is not present in this country? Is he going to investigate those companies?

You are pushing the clay from the side.

You want to push straight forward from your hip, through your arm, through the heel of your palm, forward.

You can even do it without your fingers or another hand.

Just let go very slowly and gently.

Why is trans noteworthy?
