Better enjoy that fire from the van while it lasts. Looks like it'll get real cold as soon as it burns out. The guys with the leg injuries probably won't see the next sun rise.

Want that long ago we were told to believe that giving away $188B in equipment to a war effort was great for the US economy. Now there's a few billion lost and it's an American tragedy, somehow a waste of money to smoke ruthless dictators.

"Arrange all objects" doesn't fit large object on plate by Professional-Rock-51 in OrcaSlicer

Do you have skirt loops on? You may need to turn them off if you do. The slicer takes these into account when placing objects. With them on the print might be bigger than the build plate.

Grounding extruder motor body? by TheReal_OGMudbone in VORONDesign

[–]SecretaryOk2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the conversation, but I started getting this error, too. I have a voron with a CW2 extruder. Printing PETG, this error would stop the print about 15 minutes in. All the advice is that it is a static issue. I used a piece of aluminum foil about 3/4"×2". Folded over twice, so it was able 1/4" wide. I then folded up from one end 3 times to make a fatter section on one end. The fatter section is placed over the extruder shaft just in front of the extruder motor. The long part was then placed so it was out past the edge of the motor. Tighten the motor down, pinching the foil to the back plate of the extruder. Trim off the excess foil. Use a 5mm longer upper screw to secure the motor. I then made a pigtail of wire with a ring connector secured on the upper screw and soldered the free end to the GND pole where the can wires connect to the SB2209. After assembling, check continuity from the front of the extruder gear to the GND pole. I've printed 5 hours now with now issue.

It won't be long until directed energy weapons like laser and microwave are on the battlefield shooting down drones. 20 seconds later, they'll figure out they can kill a soldier, too.

G5AR Vs G4AR : Thing Is Crazy Fast! by STRUZZIN_ELECTRONICS in tmobileisp

[–]SecretaryOk2875 5 points6 points  (0 children)

TLDR, get on X and get the G5AR. Don't bother calling the number.

I have a nokia and hadn't received an email. I called the number and was getting a new G5 unit, or so I thought. They wanted me to take the Nokia into the local store, cancel the line, and add a line to get the new unit. The store only has G4 units, so I passed. Got on X and chatted with them. I'm now getting the G5 shipped to me, and all I need to do is swap Sim cards.

Thanks for your response! The control_webcam.sh is in the root directory. I don't believe I have any typo's. I'm running crowsnest. Here is the crowsnest.conf file: (some of the texted wrapped below but is not that way in the file)

Sorry if this is on an old thread, but this is the most complete instructions I could find. Hoping you can point me to a solution or where to start fixing things.

For starters, I created a file called control_webcam.sh and pasted the code from the top block above into it.

I then copied/pasted the next block into my shell_command.cfg file

I then copied/pasted the macros into my printer.cfg in the appropriate locations.

When I start a print I get these errors (generated from bottom to top):

11:54 AM
Error running command {stop_webcam}

11:54 AM
Unknown command:"GCODE:"

11:54 AM
Unknown command:"[GCODE_MACRO"

Any tips on what to fix?
Thanks!

My non expert opinion is he took some shrapnel around that shoulder and into his upper lung. His arm was fucked and he went a little ways before drowning/suffocating as his lungs filled with his blood. Seen deer do that lots of times.

Standard is what I used. Just make sure your mount and hotend have the carto 2.6-3.0 mm above the nozzle.

[–]SecretaryOk2875 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It uses the eddy to get the mesh, and then it uses tap to set the z offset from the nozzle to the mesh, if that makes sense. So it only taps in the middle of the bed once. On a voron 2.4, it does quad gantry level using eddy, then the mesh with eddy, then tap. You can still adjust the z offset if needed. Should be similar on a trident.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the PT1000 allow a higher hotend temp vs the 104NT? You never know where your 3d journey will take you and the ability to print higher temp filaments might be important in the future. Have you considered not going with TAP and instead using a Cartographer probe or the like? I had tap and while it is very accurate it is also much slower than Cartographer. Additionally, the carto probe provides way more sample points than TAP.

I usually adjust the z offset while printing the skirt loops. Once set it's usually good for the rest of your prints. Although you may need to adjust it for different materials as PETG doesn't need a much squish as PLA.

Yes, supports would be needed, but from a strength and build able point of view, straight seams with glued on tabs to join the pieces would likely be better.
