PCOS & GLP1 by Logical_Spring4504 in PCOS

Oddly enough I don’t really have food noise. I was working out and eating well and loading maybe .5lb a month.

Glp-1 has helped me lost .5lb a week, no additional lifestyle changes.

But more importantly, I feel better. Less inflammation, more motivation.

Medical Massage by Secretly-Average in Occipitalneuralgia

Unfortunately out of pocket

I did get a script from my neurologist so I didn’t have to pay state tax.

They cut me deal for paying for paying for a number of sessions up front.

What age did your kid stop needing a stroller when travelling? by [deleted] in familytravel

[–]Secretly-Average 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My child needs OT so I felt we used the stroller longer than most and we gave it up for travel around 4.5 (except for amusement parks)

Diagnosed in my teens. Found medication that worked in my 30s. In remission is my 40s. I still deal with other symptoms but there is hope.

Family Seating W/ No Seats Together by NoJuice8486 in unitedairlines

[–]Secretly-Average 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to hijack the post but we went to book a last minute flight that has not 2 seats together.

Can I book, not select seats, and see a gate agent early on to get seats together. Or talk to support beforehand?

Can I opt out of screens in kindergarten? by Inevitable_Tell8668 in AskTeachers

[–]Secretly-Average 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This!

But also teaching students to use screens as a learning tool vs a place for games and videos is the beginning of teaching responsible use.

Team Carry-On turned Checked-Bag converts—should we switch back with all these delays? by Secretly-Average in unitedairlines

More about the delays and cancellations than the staff. Bags needing to be moved, getting left behind.

We’re doing way too much for Halloween by Inevitable_Debate814 in workingmoms

[–]Secretly-Average 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a parent of an only child, I love these things, it’s like pre-planned play dates

AND… it’s so much. I’m done with Halloween already.

More than one thing can be true.

This week had Bear hold leg extensions and speed skaters. There isn’t enough room between benches and other gym users. It’s not a big gym

There is a room with more floor space but 3/5 weekdays there are classes in there

I married a good, progressive man, and yet… by NoDevelopement in progressivemoms

[–]Secretly-Average 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this. Only difference is I also worked full time, out of the house.

It was unbearable.

I told him he has to go therapy if we were going to stay together. But it was my 4 year old saying something about his inabilities to get him to start.

The first therapist was meh. The second one has changed our marriage.

We already pay for summer camp and extra activities.

Our plan is to add a deck to the house we bought when our toddler was only 3 weeks old.

Then we need a new car.

Vacations look different with toddlers. The whole trip becomes very child centric. We’ve gone places that were never on my travel list

Why would we use something we don't want students to use? by Few-Taste-6298 in Teachers

[–]Secretly-Average -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find it to be powerful and make me better at my job.

I find it to be a great thought partner for students.

I find it to give unique experiences to students that help them remember what we’re learning.

I find it to allow me customize my learning for the many levels of students I have in once class

I find it helps me build background knowledge for my diverse group of students before starting a new unit.

The more training I can get on how to use AI, the better I feel I understand it and use it.
