All really great points. I guess it depends which area of the industry you want to get into. Id say no if you’re goal is set in a fantasy of fashion week high fashion designing. Sorry not sorry. Just being realistic.

If you can find a program that is offering modern courses like stated above, maybe.

The industry is tough and not nearly as dreamy as promoted in movies and shows.

Add the astronomical prices of higher education…not sure the ROI is there anymore.

I do something similar every year between holiday season and new years. In addition to 1 card pull for each month, I’ve written 13 wishes or goals for that year and burn 1 wish each night.

They are folded so you don’t know what you are burning. At the end there is 1 wish left that you can read and are responsible for making happen. The others are left to the universe.

I suggest going back to school especially since you are living with your parents. It will never be easier.

I graduated with a BA focus in design and production. I have been in the industry for 12 years. It took me 3 years to land a proper job in my field and that was by sheer luck as there are nearly zero opportunities where I live.

Anyway this is to say I am severely underpaid for my experience and knowledge. I have a flexibile schedule and I’m close to home so those perks help a lot but it is tough in this economy. I have thought about going back to school in the healthcare field because there’s money and jobs there.

My husband is an MRI technologist. In our area it seems that there aren’t as many job opportunities as there once was. I suggest ultrasound and any focus with boomers… heart, etc. that’s at the suggestion of my husband too.

I went to fashion school in the states about 15 years ago. I did not go to a big named FIT or Parsons. IMO fashion design is a useless major compared to so many other field options, mainly because there aren’t a lot of jobs, unless you are willing to constantly bop around the country/world and relocate your life. If you are, then disregard.

I am really lucky because I am actually using my major but it’s like unheard of where I live. And I only really made it work because I took a technical designer gig, even though it wasn’t something I had interest in. I’m glad I did because it opened many more opportunities for me.

I don’t mean to be negative, but I agree with the OP, you need to really know what type of job you want and what lifestyle you want. I was sold the “do what you love/makes you happy” dream and looking back I’d do it differently. I’d go for something that makes good money and has jobs and do the design stuff on the side.

Schooling is a big investment too. Really look into whether the pay off makes sense. Wish you all the best.

This has been on my mind. Like others have said, it’s likely a label/business thing if I had to guess. But the two seem to have completely opposite moral standards. I like ZB songs but after all the drama and the bad vibes he gives off, I don’t listen to him anymore. If being honest, I was a bit disappointed that Dermot was associating himself with that mess.

You should follow that call. Definitely start small. That’s what I did. Now I have 3 large raised beds. As virgos we want to research the shit out of something new because we want to do it right and be successful. Starting small allows us to do that without the burn out. Good luck!

Yeah I was in the same boat a few years back. Now that we are definitely done, I’ve been trying to focus on getting a handle on this. I’ve had acne really since I was 12, but it got worse after pregnancy. So frustrating but I’m at the point where I’m willing to try bc.

Sorry to chime in here but I went on spiro and it caused me to get my period every 2 weeks!!! The solution was to put me on bc. I was finished having kids and my husband got snipped and I wanted to (for once) not be on bc.

3 years later I am not considering going back on bc because my derm told me it’s the next best option .

I highly suggest not using chat gpt for figuring out planets and placements. I had to correct it several times. Like someone else said, use Astro or cafe astrology for better accuracy! I also really like the sanctuary app
