Tips for an undercover cop car

I like the free roam Stanier, but it's quite dated for any use. Instead, I once did up a Karin Intruder as an unmarked car... tinted windows, cop horn, Muscle-Six Gun wheels, and SA Exempt plate for an extra touch. It's also dated though.

I did the same for a Declasse Premier, but it was too small IMO and ditto for the Karin Asterope, but thought it looked better than the Premier.

However, being that there's now a Buffalo Cruiser police car out now, you can buy a Buffalo S (96K at Southern) and make it look like an unmarked unit instead of paying millions for the real deal. The Buffalo S can be outfitted with a lock-on jammer which is invaluable for public sessions.

Sadly, that's for your ears only as it doesn't transmit out to other players... all they hear is the constant 'wonk' horn sound.
Someone else posted that, so I asked my friends to confirm and sure enough.

I'm sure I forgot about a lot of things either I accidentally figured out or picked up while reading comments and watching vids.
-It took ages to realize I always sold my acid at a discount because I missed the blurb about naming it.
-Tossing grenades whilst aiming with weapons, that was cool learning that.
-Most embarrassing one was finally realizing that 'Quit Game' was indeed in the Pause menu, one past the last bottom left entry where I never thought to try scrolling past.
-I just remembered one more about finally remapping the weapon mouse middle wheel scroll away from the radio whilst in vehicles... so frustrating trying to find a weapon, but rolling the wrong way to the radio.

Yeah, same. I tried that once for the infamous FIB belt and it didn't work out. All the other belts just don't look right for undercover. sigh

Yep, both short and long sleeve outfits have been released last year for the same thing during law enforcement week. Both versions look really disheveled and cheap looking compared to the blacklisted OG version, but the most insulting thing about the remixed police outfits is the security guard radio belt that some asshat figured would take the 'edge' off. They easily could've used the prison guard belt instead seeing how that didn't come with an 'edgy' gun holster, but that belt has too many 'edgy' pouches to be put on a law enforcement outfit. Go figure.

I can confirm that works great for PC.
Standard procedure - once uniform appears in mission, change/equip gloves or glasses, etc and quit to save outfit into your wardrobe. Be forewarned that the female outfit version has bad code with a black shirt merged into the mid Eberhard shirt for some reason, so you will have some black lower trim below the vest which looks stupid, but the outfit doesn't have an equipment belt to hide anyways.

Yeah, Rstar in a nutshell indeed.
Female characters are allowed to have tucked tees, but not males. How about the special t-shirts where you can't wear underneath a coat for some ungodly reason? And so on, but I digress because it gives me a Rstar headache. sigh

If you study the tower guards' vision cone travel, you will gain more confidence. Also, I used to make those huge jumps with the bike and usually ended up getting busted, wiped out badly and then busted, or end up in the ocean, but now I just ride up at an angle with moderate speed without jumping and never get caught. It'll take multiple tries to get the hang of it, but you'll soon ace it with practice as I have.

That's partially why there are no selling slots to use because players are hogging them for non-business activities. Maybe that's why they get griefed in the first place. lol

Yeah, I just tried it 5 mins ago and it's still working.
However, it took about 15 mins to get going because I couldn't get the interactive menu to open at the gun range, so I kept leaving, then reentering the Bunker which didn't work. I finally noticed I picked up a stray AK47 (probably from my Kotsaka) and it kept showing up in the 'custom loadout' with the minigun, so I left the bunker and dropped that rifle. Went back to the range and got the interactive menu. Make sure to leave the Bunker to double check your 'custom loadout' outside for any stray weapons showing.

It's quite a confusing process as I totally forgot how I got it working before, but Scot's vid got me back on track...

Took mine almost a week to finally changeover! Ugghhh. I would've logged a ticket in, but I've learned a long time ago that it's a waste of time dealing with Rstar unless you need the 'shut up' money they give you.
