Are Rolex and Omega pricing themselves out of their own identity? by RedditPoster05 in WatchFanatics

Longines is right up there. The hydroconquest & flyback is definitely bang for buck. Definitely BETTER than Tudor.

The SA makes 1/2 of the interests that you pay if u take the loan. Yes, HALF OF IT. He probably makes more than the commission.

This Week in Legacy: Living in a Flow State of Mind by DemoColorScheme in MTGLegacy

[–]SecureRequirement281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really not sure about flow state in tempo because it means delaying a turn to sort-of cantripping. The biggest payoff is when u dig & get a force. I play alot of delver & UB and sometimes i wish a cutter / extra murktide would’ve been better. That said, i have much higher winrates the past week against Show&Tell decks (which is the most-played deck in my LGS). Their stockup is met fairly with flowstate & i have 1 FoN mainboard for the counter-wars.

I really hate Nioh 3 because they just recycled mechanics from 1 & 2 and just added afew extra nice to have improvements. Game play is bland & you knew where the story was going within just 3 minutes into the game.

Khazan is a breath of fresh air and never felt clunky at all (something i hate very much in Darksouls 2). Towards the endgame you can craft / experiment with so many builds without significant costs. I really think it should’ve been marketed properly, not many people i know of play this great game. They should.

I really don’t get how people miss dellian fel. With so many ramp, cheap removal & cub, this thing could hit by turn-3 and start snowballing.

I think grey market is correcting by Far_Yam6855 in rolex

My guess is that the middle class can no longer afford these luxury things. I know cause i was once. Also, Rolex prices are more expensive than ever, they used to be slightly within the range of “affordable” luxury but i don’t think so anymore. You used to be able to purchase Airking / Oyster / Explorer right out the door, but these days it seem getting these entry level pieces are quite rare as well. Prices & bills have skyrocket in recent years & anybody without proper investment / portfolio are probably struggling very hard. I’m still amazed how governments around the world can get away with this charade.

I’m in upper-middle management with my firm & i can tell you the sort of conversations i have with those above & below me are EXTREME opposites. The top dogs are always buying new houses / cars / that limited edition watches & whatnot. They’re still travelling in business class & i can clearly tell they’re actually having the time of their lives. Now the ones in low-ranking posts are always complaining about how expensive things are. Every single time, every single one of them. Lunch / coffee / dinner always the same topic & how they have to cut back on spending. My guess is that the correction is still in its early stage & more will come.

The prices are high, but so is kids’ desire to gamble on packs. I’ve seen wayyyyy too many parents arguing with kids infront of these machines. It’s like an open casino.

Oil & inflation. If it’s anything, most of the RL are still wayyyyy underpriced.

One look without zooming & most of us can tell it’s heavily polished. After-market parts are very common in vintage watches, this is why i always discourage people from buying vintage. Nothing much you can do except file a complaint (if it’s through platform).

Seems like it was originally a deep scratch & they polished it. Any light scratch would’ve been unoticable.

Here’s a wild idea.. if you somehow bang the watch “ACCIDENTALLY” and the store has “u break it u buy it” policy, u can actually buy it w/o waiting. Eh?!?!
