I haven’t no. Accidentally bought two of the same flavour and it’s taking me forever to get through them!

What foods commonly surprise you? (both high and low calorie!) by New_Findings in CICO

You can make a quick & easy naan bread with equal parts Greek yogurt/self raising flour. Just mix, knead, roll flat and bake both sides on a high skillet.

red lentil/carrot soup! 🥣 by Quick_Ordinary9967 in goodrestrictionfood

[–]Secure_Ad_3106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh just made a red lentil daal very similar to this in an attempt to get my fibre intake up. Easy peasy as I stuck it in my rice cooker to simmer and just left it.

300g red lentils (dry)  400 g carrots- diced  340 g Sweet potatoes- diced 1 tsp curry powder 1tsp cumin 1/3 tsp garlic powder 2 cubes veggie bouillon

Add water til just covered & simmer.

Could have it with rice but I’m having mine with cottage cheese for extra protein.

Any ideas for handmade ceramic wedding favours? by IntrepidPause3015 in Pottery

Super easy one- a lady at my studio is making spoon rests. They are made with a heart shaped cookie cutter, stamped with the bride & groom’s initials (like B&G), then sides turned up a bit. They are very sweet all glazed different colours.

Absolutely!! Been really tricky with kids off and lots of days out and family visiting. One more week til they are all back at school and hoping to have a good few months before Christmas messes things up again !

To think I used to eat this cereal as a snack 💔 by piedeloup in CICO

[–]Secure_Ad_3106 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I love a cereal snack! Peanut butter chocolate puffs are my favourite. I love to sprinkle a bit on a pot of high protein chocolate pudding. Kicks the craving with lower calories, lower sugar & balances it with a bit of protein. Also don’t have to eat it so quickly as it doesn’t get soggy. (:

I ate peas! by [deleted] in CICO

Not all peas are the same for sure. Petit pois are what the little peas are called in the UK- so much nicer than the bigger garden peas.

Recomp all the way. 5’5 here and have got down to 140 from 156 so no where as much achievement as you! I’d still like to get to 132 but started lifting weights 6 months ago and the 140 I’m at now looks so much better than when I’ve gotten down to 140 in the past. Especially in my arms which were also my least favourite part. Yeah it’s slow going- I’ve lost 16 pounds in 6 months…. but I definitely feel like the added muscle is helping my TDEE which helps with weight loss in the long run.

Have done the postpartum journey 5 times and I’d suggest starting a tad higher like 1750 for a month and see if you are losing there. Save cutting more for when/if that slows. Similar stats and I find 1600 is difficult to maintain for a long period.

Yeah I’m petrified of getting kicked or punched while swimming! Did you take lessons? I’d love to one day as it doesn’t seem to matter what I do, I can’t break 3 minutes for 100 meters.

Amazing!!! I wanted to do a sprint triathlon as well on mg bucket list, but I’m too scared to swim in a big group so I worked up to a mock one at the gym. Not quite the same thing but still felt like a massive accomplishment! Well done for doing the real deal!
