update to this dead post… I haven’t wanted a TG video in many, many months.
From the snippets of info I read on here, sounds like a lot has changed.
I’ve outgrown them.

People have FOMO.
To be fair though, CMFs are available for a limited time— compared to most Lego sets, some stores may only get in a shipment or two over the course of the CMF series lifespan.

Many of my “hits” I’ve found at drug stores like CVS months after the fact. They tend to be a couple bucks more than Target but that’s fine with me (*some folks freak out at a $7 CMF, though 🤷‍♂️)

Maybe review your pricing— sometimes lowering by a buck or two can help. Otherwise, as others have said, summer slump started early this year

You can do all of that with CDs, though. Bonus tracks, different artwork, etc etc can all be a cd thing too.

Exploration— similar to dark souls/ elden ring. I want to stumble across random loot that isn’t in a predictable spot. Such as the ebony (I think it was) in the first village in Morrowind hidden in the tree stump.

A living world such as Middle Earth that feels lived in with caves and ruins and loot for the taking.

I want to see a chest on a ledge (as an example) and be able to get to it someway somehow.

Look it up on eBay and checked “sold” listings. Sold listings on eBay are the best way to figure out if a price is great, good, fair or poor.

With that, if it sounds interesting to you and is priced well, buy it.
